For a loft rep/super fan etc its an interesting stance he has on how the club should respond to allegations of racism. Loft will still back their bestie of course.

All the negative stories we hear on here about the Old Bill, but fair play to them here.

Hang on, hang on. Nobody is getting OFF the hook here just because they did one thing semi right.

Just pointing out there are some good ones about. However they should of had a cleaner in before him, like he said "We're in the middle of a pandemic."

I've only read it quickly but is he saying the player involved has made 3 allegations this season?

Also don't get the bit about Col U not backing their player - I thought they were first out of the blocks condemning what had allegedly happened?

Can someone please post up what the club have released today as I can’t see it anywhere?

Ah sorry, you’re saying there’s a new statement from Matt, not from the club.

Don't think they have issued anything - assuming the earlier reference is to Off's statement above.

‘Vague description’

‘Fat, baldy old bloke, frothing at the mouth’ is obviously not going to narrow it down.

Tensions are going to be high again on Saturday, what with another likely defeat and it being against Salford.

I would recommend the club film that section of the ground - should be able to do it discreetly from the top of the West - just in case there is any repeat incident.

You'll need to bring your binoculars so you can watch the action from the family stand.

What a sorry state of affairs - from beginning to end. Who emerges with any credit?
Clubs - No.
The player concerned - No.
Matt R***r - if anybody does. (At least he puts his heart and soul into supporting the Club!)

You can support the club without yelling abusive comments at opposition players/staff.

What have the clubs or player done wrong?

OFF's repetitive use of "PC's" is a criminal offence in itself.

Nothing at all in that rant about what he shouted at the player. As mentioned earlier the fact he does not say anything about what he said that was so misconstrued is telling. Also guessing he went OFF at Danny Macklin hence needing to get the club solicitor involved.

He's a marked man now for sure.

I especially like the overuse of ‘family club’ when he behaves how he does.

Hang on

R***r has consistently said the matter was closed with no further action

On the Lo Down Nigel said the police investigation was ongoing, therefore suggesting he'd been released or bailed pending further enquiries

If CEB was here we would already have had the opening sequence to LO Law.

I'm sort of at a loss as to what the club should have done differently.

They've clearly got to act on an allegation of this nature and decided to suspend attendance whilst an investigation is ongoing. As soon as that investigation has confirmed there's no charges, they've reinstated his season ticket. Not sure why the club would allow someone to continue attending whilst an investigation is ongoing.

Col U we're straight out of the blocks condemning what had allegedly happened. For Orient to act any differently in response would look pretty poor.

Really don't get OFF's bit about Corie Adam's changing his story / attack of morals though.

He wants his superfan ego massaged by the club

In his mind, he thinks his SuperFan status means the club should have backed him unequivocally and known he couldn’t possibly be guilty of dishing out racist abuse to an opposition player (despite his history of dishing out homophobic abuse to homosexual Orient fans like CEB on the inter web and despite his history of dishing out non specific abuse to opposition players and staff in person).

I think you're experienced in this sort of thing than I am Pammy having worked for the police (apols if i'm mistaken) - why would the police even bother to interview him if the player's statement confirms no racist incident took place?

This place needs those 2 back on here.
