Gutless again. No tempo, no pace, no ambition, no cutting edge. Clearly no confidence and half the team look like they don’t fancy it. So much for the theory of players really upping their game at the tail end of the season to earn new contracts.

Jobi - give them a rocket and try something different!

I don't think anyone at Orient was happy with that at all - probably as disappointed as us fans. Think it's 5 clean sheets in a row for Stevenage, which tells you they're not an easy side to break down
It's the attitude that irritates more than the result. Didn't attack didn't have a go, it's beyond a joke now.
Seriously makes me wonder if there are things going on behind the scenes at the club that has alienated some of the players?

Forgot we were playing tonight, and having read this whole thread it’s probably a good move not to have had to watch it.

Jobi’s games in charge have been characterised by long balls and aimless ones at that. Did we actually put the ball on the deck tonight or were people being funny?

On the contrary, players protecting themselves for their next contract

So poor, just glad Ross got us to a point where relegation isn't realistic as this experiment isn't ending well

Agree with this, they don't know who the manager will be for next season, whether they'll be wanted or not and what players will be alongside them (apart from the 5-a-side squad we have signed up).

At present if I were a player with options I'd be telling my agent to go full steam ahead trying to find another club where they have any sort of idea what they're doing.

I agree and that's why the club should either make Jobi the permanent manager right now or hire an experienced manager .

I don’t get it.

I know Akinola is a centre half but he’s still the best rightback at the club. All our attacking play comes to a complete standstill, we lose all impetus because every time we go down the right the ball gets played backwards.

I don’t mind Brophy as a left back, when he’s able to use his pace to carry the ball forward with urgency, but he just held back all game.

I don’t mind Clay when he’s charging around like a headless chicken high pressing, but he’s not a holding CM.

I don’t mind playing 2 holding CMs when both full backs are charged with getting forward but when they’re not, you’re playing with 6 at the back and only 4 attacking players.

You didn’t miss anything Thor.
Awful game with lots of sideways passing between our back four and Vigouroux. After 10 passes the ball would reach Cisse and he would pass it back to Vigouroux.
How is Danny Macklin gonna sell 4,500 season cards next season watching this.......
Kemp and Vigouroux were the only ones to come out with any credit.........Abrahams played in the DJ “Isolation Role” and had 0 shots at goal rarely touched the ball.
Stevenage hit the bar with a free kick and could have won.

Something is obviously not right , its the same crap under Jobi as it was under Ross 🤔 never mind Jobi managing till the end of the season get an experienced manager in NOW , and get rid of Ling snr as well ☹ I'm ready for the flak I'm no doubt gonna get for daring to doubt our DOF 🤔

I totally agree with you, the root of our problems is our DOF as he is responsible for 3 Manager failures and is only trying to protect his own job.
Unfortunately the owners seem blind to the fact and still keep backing him.
Whilst I understand that the owners are not football savvy I am sure there there must be other foreign owners of clubs that do not have a DOF.
Our DOF seems to be fire proof and that will be the ruin of our club.

Nothing to do with the manager, it’s the players.
Surely you can see that the back 4 is Non league standard.
Brophy/Wilkinson/Abrahams/ Clay the same.
So if we played Widdowson and pushed Brophy further up, then that is 8 Non league standard players, and these are more or less our first choices!
That leaves two players left in Freeman and Cisse who have not lived up to reputation.
Kemp was always a punt.

The recruitment has been poor.

More the players than the two managers we have had. A clear out this summer and all will be ok.
