Well, if we can put together a team of players who haven't been involved with the first team and we can get them tested and CAN field a team. If spurs then dont want to take the risk by playing that team then its them who are forfeiting, not us.
That's not going to happen.
Why not?
We don't actually need to get them tested, if that's the concern.
If and that's a big if, Orient have 18 players out then there's no chance of Orient putting a squad together. Why didn't Orient refuse the test on Saturday if that's the case?

On now.
Communication from the Public Health Authority due anytime now.
As far as Travis is concerned, it would be a postponement not a cancellation.

Orient have a team ready to play tonight who have been socially distanced from the matchday squad.
Myles Judd obviously must be one of this team. Maybe they've finally prised Boco off of his island too.

Cost to Orient would be £7k per week if we needed to Covid test every week.

Thanks for expanding, I've been listening to this and a company update at the same time and zoning in and out of each.

The team will be from the youth.
The whole first team squad is out of contention regardless of the test result.
But yeah, of course he knows.

As much as i've looked forward to this game, i still hope it gets postponed. We have a chance to beat these guys with our full strength team and the form we are in but if the alternative is forfeit or kids then get the kids out all day and just collect the money from SKY hopefully.
Just want to know what will happen now!!

Willing to throw a youth team in against Spurs to secure some money. Echoes of a recent past.
I hope Spurs agree to play it on another day but I can't see it. Spurs and Chelsea will have to change their schedules to fit the games in. Although I'm sure Mourinho would rather play Orient the game before United, than Chelsea.

All this speculation of what may/may not happen from information found via 'reliable' sources is a waste of time. Just wait for the FACTS not rely of rumour.
EFL rules are quite clear and, whilst they may be seen as ridiculous, they are what they are.
To avoid any doubt they have been published several times on this thread. The important Clause is 5

This is an EFL competition and they dictate the rules, not Spurs or Chelsea. If the EFL say it will be played at a later date then they will have to adjust their schedules like it or not. If not then let them forfeit.
The big issue here that people have not mentioned yet is why there is a significant difference between the EFL testing and that for the Premier League clubs. These cases were only identified because the PL protocol was followed. It begs the question of how effective the EFL tests are and how many players are playing while infected.
