First person dies after testing positive for virus in UK​

Berkshire NHS Trust has confirmed the first death of a patient in the UK who had contracted the virus.

The deceased, described as an older patient with underlying health conditions, is understood to have tested positive for the virus last night.

- Categorically untrue. There are several types of different flu vaccine, tailored to different strains of the virus, and for people of different ages, so 'the authorities' (whoever they are) are definitely doing something every year. The flu drive for the NHS alone is significant. Also 650k is the upper upper limit. Assuming 500,000 people die from flu every year, that would account for 0.0064% of the global population per year.

- Well, yeah? It's a brand new virus not seen in humans before. That is the reason for this global reaction - no one has immunity yet and no vaccine exists, yet. Would you rather we did nothing?

- Only in China and only in the worst hit regions. China overreact to anything so this is hardly reflective of the lethality of the virus.

- Now this statement is fantastic, we're encouraged to not believe things we read - by reading. It's a wonderful trap but ultimately pointless as yet again thor has nothing to back any of his statements up.


I have only 2 questions for you thor.

1. Do you have any proof that you would like to share that backs up any one of your bizarre claims (please note that blog entries from random people, anything scribbled in the daily mail, and religious texts will not be accepted as 'proof')?
2. Why do you not believe literally all of the news saying the death rate is around 1% (maximum, as its hard to account for asymptomatic cases).

Wow! It’s lucky those normally secretive Chinese have published full details about the location of their Top Secret biological weapon centres. I wouldn’t have believed it if agent Thor hadn’t revealed it!
