Oh , Ok . In that case we should just stick with 4-3-3-. . That obviously works for us . Very good result against one of the better teams in our division .CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:45 pmWe were playing 4-3-3.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:43 pm What a confidence booster and coming from two goals down as well . Well done to Ross and the players . I think we should just stick with 4-4-2.

Was it actually Dennis' goal? Thought it rebounded off of JMD?
Who cares, i guess.

As said previously even Bonne and Koroma didn't score with the 3-5-2. Give these boys a chance to show their abilities with a formation that allows them to attack and then we can truly see what they're about as per second half today #bebraveRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:46 pmSomething had to change and thank God it did. It's especially pleasing to see the strikers scoring and getting off the mark.

Fantastic comeback, I do love this team but my God they're infuriating!
Can we complain about the 2 conceded & leaving it so late?

Still a bit lop sided with a midfield 3 of Brophy, Wright and Clay, so not sure if that personnel is the answer...

Re: Mansfield (A) Match / Exiles Thread
A pretty good counter attack. Wright to Angol who ran into the box and smashed over a low cross/shot, dennis at the back post who i think actually almost f*cked it up but it hit JMD and flew in from 1 yard.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:52 pmWhat was the goal like?CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:50 pmNo idea, nearly stuffed it up between them, but yeah who cares.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:47 pm Was it actually Dennis' goal? Re: Mansfield (A) Match / Exiles Thread
Angol (my MOTM) broke down the left and shot/ cross to the far post, JMD and Dennis we’re there with one of their defenders and bundled it over the line at the second attempt.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:52 pmWhat was the goal like?CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:50 pmNo idea, nearly stuffed it up between them, but yeah who cares.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:47 pm Was it actually Dennis' goal? What an absolutely great result, especially from two down away to a fancied team. Well done the team and well done to Ross for changing it about. Top marks.

We played with 0 wingers second half.UpminsterO wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:54 pm I am not there I don't know the style but I did say three days ago play attack with two wingers and cross the ball a lot
I know it's very easy on here saying do this or do that
I notice on texts Dennis's was a major part in assists maybe he be picked from the start now
WELL DONE Lofc

What a win!! Get in! Can only imagine the scenes in the away end.
Will be a huge confidence boost for the players and management, hope it really kickstarts our season.

Re: Mansfield (A) Match / Exiles Thread
Be lucky to see a better game this season, Orient had more possession first half but very blunt and two counter-attacking pens given away. Second half the move to 4-4-2/4-3-3 looked far better bar the first 15 minutes where the right side looked non-existent, Wilkinson and Angol had players nearer to them and width, Dennis with a class assist for the first goal and he looks a bit like Koroma to me, he will run, try a few stupid things, lose the ball but also cause problems, without Koroma that was missing to me.
Surely has to go 4-4-2 now at the weekend
