If it's freestanding why wouldn't you take it?

Can’t believe that the iron fist mod is worried that he might upset someone by keeping stuff that he owns

I would say that it’s unlikely they’ll even expect it to be there. If it’s not on the plan, it goes. If anything, leaving something there that’s not on the plan may well land you a bill for disposing of it, from these arseholes

If your toothbrush matched the units would you leave that too?

Starting to think this latest request for advice is not entirely serious, but just in case it is, LSN, by the time they walk through the door and - perhaps - are dismayed at the missing cupboard that's not on the plans and is freestanding, you'll already have completed and you'll have the cash, so what's your worry?

Also, has anyone told you how moving house is such a stressful experience that's it's one of the main triggers for relationship breakdowns and divorce?

She might sue/email me or something?

I love that you phrase that as if they’re equally stressful outcomes
You’re fine. You can’t be sued for keeping your own stuff

Quotes for removals are coming out quite high, around £1700 for a two bed house.
One quote was half this but they seem dodgy.

When Caca has finally moved in, there’ll be a brilliant reverse thread

Did we ever establish why caca needs a bigger house?

Leave it but leave a big poo in it. They won’t want if after it’s been soiled and will ask you to come and remove it. Clean it up then keep it. Everyone is a winner.

The paper copies of all the Boardin' files won't store themselves.

The CEB / OFF secret files are securely stored off-site. They'll be released in 30 years time (or as soon as someone's prepared to hand over some decent wedge).

Congrats…
5th year anniversary of owning my house today. Currently waiting on an “emergency” plumber after a pipe burst in the bathroom last night and leaked through the ceiling onto a £1000 oven, a year old kitchen and 300 year old wooden beams.
Home ownership is great

Don't forget to include a few extras when you put in the insurance claim.
