Re: FAO Racists
I knew this is what you were angling at. Tell us about the racism you have suffered throughout your lifetime. I would like to be educated.Dohnut (ALM) wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:29 pmIn answer to your questionsRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:16 pm Hang on.
Where does it happen then?
Are you saying you have witnessed white people being the victims of racism? Or even that you have suffered racism at some point in your life? Is this where you're going with this?
Yes.
Yes.
But that is not the point.
I’m not in any way trying to diminish the value of BLM. Or maybe taking the knee, or raising the fist. Or the need for action. I totally support this. If you think I’m trying to diminish this issue or trivialise it in any way you are wrong. Racism against our Black community exists, it is wrong, it needs stamping out. It’s disgusting, it’s outrageous, it’s wrong. It’s been going on for years, it needs to stop, I hate it, I despise it. Phew. Even you must have got the message by now.
I understand the term Black Lives Matter doesn’t mean only Black Lives Matter. It is not a statement diminishing others, I know, I understand, I've read the literature.
What I don’t understand is peoples objection to the term all lives matter. If people object to all lives matter then please tell me whose lives don’t matter?
You have literally no awareness of your white privilege, do you.

I invite you all to say whose lives don’t matter. In the absence Of replies I will assume you agree all lives matter.
Not complex.
I just object to racialist Dummies resorting to the But All Lives Matter to try and diminish the Black Lives Matter message.

Of course they do. And I understand how this term can be used to devalue or diminish the BLM movement by those who wish to do just that. And I don’t agree with that at all.
But when I say all lives matter, I mean it. Not in any way to diminish or have a go at the BLM movement. I honestly believe all people matter and I wish all the best to those trying to fight the injustices that happen.

Re: FAO Racists
Agree 100%. And I accept some racist Dummies use all lives matter as a slogan to diminish the BLM message. But I don’t. Nor I’m sure do many decent people who care about the poo poo that goes on in this world. I believe all lives matter. Not as a silly slogan having a go at BLM but a statement of feeling. I believed this long before BLM became prominent.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 10:09 pmOf course all lives matter.Dohnut (ALM) wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:51 pm Anyway.

Yeah. You’re views on the overweight and poor at foodbanks this time last was pretty compassionate wasn’t it? It’s why you ended with the FTP&F username.Dohnut (ALM) wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 9:18 pmThe difference between you and me is I research these things, I try to understand in a compassionate way. What’s worse is you really do think you’re some deep thinking contributor to every debate. Whereas you’re just coming across as an arse. I’m just grateful that I don’t have to interact with you in any other medium except here.

Re: FAO Racists
It didn’t. The food bank and obesity issue that led to my previous name change was nonsense. I wanted to have a sensible debate about two topics I feel strongly about. And actually have some practical knowledge of. I still do. But Admin didn’t, hence the name change, to one that I had for too much self respect to use. I tried to get it changed, including private messages. But without any joy. I didn’t flounce, believe me. I was the subject of vindictive behaviour. Bullying if you like.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 10:31 pmThat led to a Proper FlounceAdmin wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 10:21 pmYeah. Admin got his arse kicked by me over antiSemitism in the Labour Party and Corbyn. Subsequently I have been proven 100% right. Admin don’t like me. Vindictive behaviour returns.
The latest name change is Admin seeking some sort of revenge. In such a way that denies me the opportunity to challenge. Some may see such actions as that of a coward. You make up your own mind.
I’ll argue my corner. Admin just gets spiteful by changing my username. Admin, you are a coward.

Re: FAO Racists
To be honest I think we are all singing from the same hymn sheet. I don’t see massive differences between our opinions. We all dislike racism, we all agree with the BLM message and I think we all agree that some jump on the all lives matter slogan as a way of digging at the BLM message.
I also believe we agree that all lives matter, not the political slogan but the fact.

Not only an arse but delusional. Go read the debate we had on foodbanks and anti semitism. Funny you can recall them immediately - I suppose that’s what being torn a new one does for you.Dohnut (ALM) wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 10:45 pmIt didn’t. And for someone with your supposed high profile business background, you took having a username being changed in an amazingly snowflake like manner. Seem to remember you bleating on over at Mungos graveyard that you’d never return until your username was changed - and yet not long after you’d sloped back here with a new account.
Our previous debates are here for all to read. Happy for me to be judged by them. Oh and your latest username change has got nowt to do with me. I’d have changed it to f*** BLM.
Now do me a favour and f*** off.

Re: FAO Racists
Cancer research advertise on TV. So do The Dementia charity and a myriad of others. All bringing home one simple fact. That being there is more than one issue that needs attention. All valid, all deserving, all worthy of our attention.
As a matter of interest I have supported Cancer Research U.K. via a standing order for well over 25 years, probably near 40 years, I don’t count. My chosen charity if you like. That doesn’t mean I don’t recognise the value of other organisations and the work they do.
In the same way i understand the motives of BLM but also recognise the other issues that exist.
