Today was another reminder that new build grounds are generally rubbish. Soulless place with zero atmosphere, despite looking spectacular. Know Brisbane road isn't exactly loud but over 20,000 were there and there was barley a peep from the home fans.

Such an odd game. First 15 minutes we were abysmal, I can't remember ever seeing a start like that. Every Bolton attack looked like a goal was going to come. Happe, James and Beckles were dreadful.
And then second half it all clicked, absolutely all over them. They barely hung on to that, two genuinely great chances to equalise at the death.
Wellens point after the Cheltenham game about us having an extremely fit squad rings true. We get a lot of late goals and create a lot of pressure at the end.
See gshaws comment. ”put it into context they took their foot off the gas at 3-0 up”. so according to him that’s the only reason we were allowed to do what we did, nothing to do with us at all

Best game Shaq Forde has had in an Orient shirt
Been a real handful for Bolton in 2nd half
We have been so unlucky not to make it 3-3 in last few mins
Happes mistake costing us points again
This happened before. He thinks he’s going to get a big move and his form goes to sh*t.

Pratley made it to a battle which Bolton couldn't hack. I was livid after the first ten and Wellens seriously f*cked up the first half, but a team that's strolling to a victory don't cling on at the end making last minute blocks. We were genuinely unlucky not to get a point on balance.

Yes he did and you know it, you’re just being pedantic, so we don’t score a lot of goals last season and he brings in a plethora of midfielders when everyone knew we were crying out for forwards.i respect your views but I don’t agree.
What part of ‘transfer committee’ is your brain not understanding?
What part of Wellens has the say in your head do you not grasp.
You said “The players he brought in you mean”. So, does he have a say or did he bring them in? Its one or the other.

Think you have got to put today down to Richie, wrong starting eleven our midfield killed us first half, got the right players on second half and we bossed it and could have got a point.
Richies learning too I guess.
I can see what he was trying to do - rest key players in a busy period. But it backfired in two ways. El Miz is undroppable because not only does he hold our team together, but he makes others around him look better. Secondly, el miz got injured. Bad luck, nothing you can do about that.
The squad isnt deep enough for rotation and if Richie wants to do that he needs to tell ling and co to pull their finger out in Jan

He’s had some very average performances recently, he’s not undroppable

Unfair to pin the fault on Happe, James and Beckles. They were under relentless pressure because the midfield and our front 4 were just being walked through.
Beckles made two really good blocks in one attack before they even scored their first.

No, but I’ve seen some bad 90 min performances recently. He was on the bench because of a knock and now it looks like he’s injured.

James absolutely lost for the opener, Happe to Beckles for the second was a disaster. As much as Bolton were overwhelming us, individual errors at the back cost us.
Beckles grew into it and can handle the physical stuff so am cutting him some slack for a stinking start.
But agreed that a midfield three of Galbraith, Ruel and Brown (who was playing a bizarre hybrid role again dropping right) handicapped us big time.

If we can play like that in next few games like we did in 2nd half today we will win more than we lose.
Well thought back O’s
Most dangerous we have looked attacking all season.
I've always said that we have enough goal power for this division, or at least that we should be scoring more goals than we do. Our poor performances and results this season are as much to do with the manager as it is the players.

Although we showed some fight in the second half I'm far from happy tonight . This is exactly what happened against Oxford . I'm wondering didn't we learn anything from that game and against Stevenage where we got our tactics completely wrong .

I've just seen the goals on TV and Jesus Christ , do we have a defence ?. It was like they were playing in a practice match . I'm beginning to wonder if whether we'll survive this season .

We’re all Orient supporters, just because you go to an away game doesn’t make you more of a supporter than someone who chooses not to go to the game.
It kind of does though
It definitely does.
So being an Orient supporter for last 30+ years, been a season ticket holder for season after season, followed The O’s all over the country, but chose not to go to Bolton, doesn't make me a proper Orient fan

Looking back at the highlights, was really refreshing to see some excellent corners at the end. Moncur and Theo's deliveries were excellent and nearly got us the point. Very unfortunate that none of those chances fell in, they were more clear cut than I realised watching live.

I thought yesterday showed how important El Miz is, even though he hasn't been as outstanding this season, he is the key player in the whole side, a big issue is if he isn't here next year, either need to replace him or strengthen the other players

100% agree - our most important player by a Country mile.
I’d also agree that he hasn’t shone as much as last year but he must have missed Pratley playing alongside him for much of this season - and most of the others round him have been below par as well.
