As someone pointed out on Twitter, legal issues never did Berlusconi any harm, in fact quite the opposite. And that was without the insane, social media driven conspiracy whackos getting all over it.

The result of the trial will turn off some voters who are neutral at the moment and wouldnt be seen voting for a criminal.
Trumps fan boys & girls would still vote for him if he ( Trump) machine gunned a nun, in broad daylight, and 10 different video cameras took a video each. They would still say the trial was rigged

Exactly correct, some Americans are so deluded the way they hero worship Trump, some even view him as a messenger sent by GOD...as if !
Seems many in the Southern states are still stuck in the mindset of the American civil war between the Union] ("the North") and the Confederacy ("the South").
