My cheat detection program for solves in 2 is complete. It takes the pattern posted and the answer for the day to find the possible starting words that could have been used from the published allowed entry words list. It then checks each one of these words against the possible answers list and finds the best possible word that could have been used and the number of wordabthat would have remained as well and an average of the number of words remaining from the possible starting words.

In this case, Bonio's best possible starting word was tarns (and a few others equally good), giving a 1/17 chance of getting the right answer, with an average of 1/33.

For comparison Spikes recent 2 was a 1/34 chance (exact as he has said what his starting word is). Unfortunately while both had far more obvious answers to choose from there isn't any evidence to accuse either of cheating. In my opinion frequency of scores of three or less is still the best indication of foul play.
