To be fair, I think even the most rabid of right wingers on here has seen that story for what it is.

Everyone knows he’s a very, very wealthy man. With a title.
What is there to argue about?

Re: Labour Watch
In a recent poll Starmer was more popular than Johnson. A great Tory strategy.
Personally I think he is doing a good, sensible job. Corbyn assigned to the dustbin. Good riddance.

Re: Labour Watch
Spot on. After years of crap, Labour at last have someone in charge who can make Labour great again. His biggest challenge is not Johnson but those in his own party, like momentum. Thus far he is offering a realistic alternative to the Tories.Thor wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 12:31 amI really couldn't care less how much money he has earned, how much is house, property or land is worth. It's what he says and does as a politician is what's important. None of this do as I say not as I do nonsense and he will be fine.
I like him, I said it before the general election and I personally think he will be good as a leader of the opposition. The testing times for him will be when he's under pressure and how he delivers his policies and answers will determine if he is too be a success. His wealth will not make one bit of difference to the NHS, schools, defence and transportation policy etc.
If he can get a decent team around him, in time he could be a formidable challenger to the government.

Yeah. Imagine wanting tradesmen to be able to go back to work so they can continue to earn money and support themselves.RedO wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 11:57 pmTories want those in manufacturing and construction - where adequate social distancing is difficult if not impossible - to return to work. Imagine my shock
Imagine my shock.
Labour is no longer the party of the workers. Their core vote now is self-hating middle class liberals in £1m houses in Camden who look down on these people and care more about trans rights and the ability to self-identify as one of 82636281035 genders.
Real shame

Camden is bigger than I remember.
Tradesmen should be supported by the current support schemes in place.

Don’t remember too much suffering in silence. But I do agree, time to get behind Starmer, he will never have a better opportunity to make his mark with the Tories currently in a mess.Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 10:47 pmBe gracious. It just goes to show that Jezza was simply too decent all along - he should have carried out a similar purge immediately instead of allowing the shitstirrers a voice.
I wonder how they’re going to get Rayner out of her seat?
