Its also the same new information that the police said ‘no longer a realistic prospect of conviction’ as they dropped the case. Do you only believe the victim when it suits your narrative and call her a money grabber when it doesn’t?

There have been endless cases of footballers convicted of causing death, sexual assault and assault whilst continuing their careers. I asked why is this where the world suddenly decides to be moralistic.

We’ve just had a World Cup in Qatar where its illegal to be gay. Is that ok too?

Another player under investigation and has had his bail extended over 2 rape cases, has constistently started for his club over the last year and will continue to start. Got off on a 3rd accusation due to a technicality.

Where’s the moral outrage about him?

Dare I suggest that there maybe other more worthy causes to hang you hat on than Greenwood?

I’m not telling anyone to keep quiet about it. Just make sure you’re as vocal about it when its other other cases too.

There’s a lot of people who have been very vocal about Greenwood who watched the world cup and journalists who worked at it. These journalists said nothing about Ronaldo’s past case and his return. They report on the player who is on bail for 2 rape accusations.

I don’t support Greenwood. I just think its important that we don’t hold trial by social media.

Its all just moral grandstanding.
