The bargaining positions of Marvin when joining us and Macca when extending his existing contract are entirely different. There’s no way Marv will have a release clause. Nor will Happe, for that matter.
Bet Josh has now though. Be interesting to find out what that figure is in the next few days.

It's the right move for the club to put these clauses in. Otherwise the contracts run down and they move on for nothing or a tribunal fee.

I’m sure agents make sure contracts have get out clauses. I doubt clubs rarely dictate these days. Agents get paid to do a job and I’m sure they do it well.
