Re: League 2 January Transfer Window
Mark Marshall leaves Gillingham, central midfielder with bags of experience! Give him a 6 month deal to the end of the season. May be a bit like Cisse but just feel our squad is still a player light in every position.

Amazing how other teams find little problem bringing in players, but we dont seem to be able to.

I know. It’s really frustrating and disappointing. What exactly is the problem. Is it Ross, Ling or what terms we’re offering ?ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 3:14 pm Amazing how other teams find little problem bringing in players, but we dont seem to be able to.

We are after an experienced striker ain't we?
Not sure Adeboyejo would be one of the 10 on the shortlist.......

Meanwhile in Leyton the only transfers taking place are in the local banks.

Re: League 2 January Transfer Window
Fact is, it is easier at other clubs. That is why they have done more business than us (at this stage).
Budget permitting if a manager wants a player, he just goes out and signs him and the club does the formalities.... that is how it happens.
At our club, it just seems slower. If Ross wants a player, he has to submit that to the transfer committee, who then have to decide whether it is a good idea or not. Alternatively the transfer committee could identify a player, and then bring it to Ross to see if he can fit into the side. Either way the bureaucracy introduces extra steps.
Remember Ebou Adams and 'things weren't right behind the scenes'. We operate in a different way to others.

Seems likely to me he was getting crossed signals, Justin being nice to him and telling him he was his first choice signing, then Lingy saying 'sign the motherfucking contract by Friday or you ain't getting sh*t out of us'.

Re: League 2 January Transfer Window
League Two promotion chasers Northampton Town have signed winger Mark Marshall on a free transfer. The winger arrives after leaving Gillingham earlier this week. He has signed a deal until the end of the season.
