To be fair, one of the most reasonable set of supporters I've come across for a long time as many of them gave us credit for a good performance. As the game wore on they began to rip into the manager though. How things change - this comment about recruitment said it all:

"How much have we spent last summer and this January to turn that out?

Orient have nowhere near the backing we have. What they do have is quality signings, loans that help balance the team, youth and pace."

Disagree. They generally seem totally unaware of just how limited Parkinson is. A proper manager with that budget playing proper football would already be up by now.

Was amazed at how cack they were second half. Struggled to string a pass together and their only tactic seemed to be to launch it, despite Happe mopping that stuff up easily. We should have had at least another goal before Pratley was sent off and would've been comfortable with 11 men.

Parkinson is a dinosaur and would be surprised if they didn't ditch in the summer. So much less than the sum of their parts.
It's not that they were cack - lesser defences would have crumbled under that late onslaught - but it's just so one dimensional. No football, just hook it long for the two expensive boys up top to chase down.

That's the big difference that stands out for me this season: the recruitment and quality of players has been excellent. And furthermore they are then integrated into the side immediately with seemingly no disruption to the present set up. We have a good squad of players at the moment but just as important, we have a very good team.

OK - but if you look at the Forum you’ll see that most of the fans have had it with his hoof ball. He’s really not popular at present.

Fair enough, that's just not the sense I got from my skim through. Looked like they were digging out certain players rather than how they're being set up.

Also, for a team in 3rd place (I think?) having gained 2 quick promotions after aeons in non-League, they were properly on their teams back last night rather than encouraging them. Properly weird.

Really? I can see how most L1 teams would struggle under that barrage. There's little guile or entertainment on offer but they were very aggressive, constantly trying to stretch our back line with long balls. And the refs obviously don't want to be taken apart on their tv show so they do get all the little decisions in their favour.

Maybe I overestimate the quality in league one. I understand a team doing that and being mid table but surprising they’ve managed to maintain form with one tactic and teams haven’t figured out how to nullify it.

I guess none of them have Richie

They’re doing it with - mostly - really physical, top L1/Championship players.
