Forgot that bit.

It's like England from 40/50 years ago but hotter and 11 hours in the future.

You've also forgotten that England 40 years ago was better than it is today.

How do social attitudes towards progressive causes differ between England and Saigon?

Yes. But as its the middle of the night she was a bit annoyed but says its a cool 16C. So all that "its hotter pish" is just that.

I have been directed to the BBC Weather App for all future enquiries.

Ok, so it's like England from 40 years ago but also in the future, it's not hotter but is currently darker?

Could you please ask her to confirm that's all correct.

She's only 24 so can't confirm what England was like 40 years ago, despite being born there. The rest she grudgingly confirmed

Doesn't watch Enders.

For clarity, when I said it's darker there, I wasn't being all Reformy.

I'm not really sure why people go to Melbourne it's got crap beaches, and unpredictable weather. I guess it's a bit like a European city but they speak English there. Sydney is great, but had become stupidly expensive. If you like England 40 years ago Adelaide, Perth or Brisbane will hit the spot. No time for that woke bollocks there.

Why don't we just abolish the Bank of England and just contract in to the US Fed?

Massive news. The economy grew by a whopping 0.1% in the final quarter of 2024. Bring out the bunting.

In other news, we had to import enough people to increase the population by 0.2% during the same period to achieve that brilliant result.

Wonder how much was down to Christmas and how much debt we've rung up paying for it?
