All the Dems hopes pin on the high number of undecided voters, who polling suggests are way more likely to go Dem because non - Republicans tend to hate the guy. Somehow he's even more nuts than in 2016 and is showing just as much signs of losing his marbles as sleepy Joe, albeit from a much lower marble count in the first place.

Don’t think people are taking the chances of his return as seriously as it is. Especially as this isn’t a usual election and you (basically) have two incumbents with relative records to compare

Trump won when he was miles behind to Clinton in the poll averag and then he massively outperformed his poll average in 2020

He’s now ahead of Biden in the polling average in national and every battleground state.

I still think Biden is a decent price at 5/2 compared to Trump at odds on. However, I can’t believe that the Dems are sleepwalking into this election with their man as the underdog.

It really amazes me that in a country so vast, the only two people seen capable of running the country are a now convicted criminal and a silly old codger. Not that we've faired much better I know.

Trump is an awful character and amazing that many Americans view him as some sort of an ''American savoir''

Views are so entrenched, he'd have to get done for something serious to lose significant support.

Even if he was video recorded doing a serious crime, many of his supporters would still view it as fake evidence.

Won’t make a difference to his core support; could potentially significantly impact those weirdos who could go either way

Trump is a wannabe Dictator and his affinity for authoritarian figures is well established. When he was in the White House, he boasted of his relationships with people like North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump’s latest praise for some of the world’s biggest strongmen and his comment that he wouldn’t be a dictator “except for Day One” has alarmed Trump’s critics, who say they fear the former president would veer even further to the right if re-elected. They point to Trump calling his political enemies “vermin,” a dehumanizing word that echoes fascist dictators such as Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, and second-term plans being drafted by Trump allies they claim would upend the norms of government. Vote him in for another term and he will fight tooth and nail to do a Putin and become a permanent fixture in the White House. Trump also threatens to pull America out of NATO and settle the Ukraine conflict ''in one day'' In other words a quick sell out deal to his friend Putin !!

Well many of the ''weirdo's'' who vote for him seem to very much like the idea of having a right wing Dictator as President. Surprising how many extreme right wing Americans admire Putin, how bizarre is that. So Trump ticks all their boxes !

As apposed to the weirdo radical left wing Democrats who have weaponised the judiciary system . I hope I'm wrong but there could be a lot of trouble over this now .

It just further goes towards his fan’s narrative that the state and the system is against him because he’s fighting for the ordinary American

Yup - if anything, his conviction will do him a power of good as all the loony tunes will believe he’s a martyr for the cause. What a fecked up Country.
