Unbelievable that two clubs could go tonight.

Bolton would be on 14 days notice. Only Bury can fold today.

Maybe some outside chancer has come in with a last minute indication of interest (possibly abetted by a few fans) and Dale has thought to himself that there's a chance or getting a few more pounds.

I do hope they somehow find a solution

Apparently one of the bidders Joseph Cala was involved at Portsmouth 10 years ago and failed the fit and proper persons test when trying to buy Morcombe.

Bury have been expelled as expected. Bolton though given 14 days.

Wasn’t to sure how serious this bid to save them was.
The company only had 6 employees and a net worth of about 200k.

Apparently the company is run by Alistair Campbell’s son.

Net worth is negative - a right couple of chancers, sadly.

Cala was the man who destroyed Gateshead last season. He is like a cancer to football.

Exactly. Now Bury have gone their players have to try and earn a living somewhere else. We should definitely be taking a look them. How does this now effect promotion and relegation between Leagues One and Two

No change - still four going up with three going down. Will change of course if the Trotters go the same way.

He'll be welcomed with open arms by the Dummies at the EFL then 🤡🤡🤡

The EFL will decide in September what to do about there being only 23 clubs in Division two next season.

Am saddened by the demise of any club, we’re all the wider football family after all, and really feel for the fans.

With no income it’s difficult to see how the present club can survive to beginning next season somewhere else, so the more realistic hope is that out of its ashes a new club can rise, as has happened elsewhere. We saw how many fab supporters we had when we were up against the wall, so can only wish the Bury fans well in whichever direction it goes from here.

Very sad news for Bury, in particular, and football, in general.

This re-emphasises how lucky we are to have Nigel and Kent.

Agreed but it still won’t stop the constant haters on this board thinking they know what’s good on and off the field for Leyton Orient
