Well, they haven't fallen yet and I suspect that many Scots will continue to be too suspicious of Labour to consider voting for them again in large numbers

Based on current voting intentions in Scotchlandshire the SNP could easily drop upwards of 25 seats at a GE. Once the Presbyterian wing of the party win the leadership the game is up.

Apparently lots of people are "disgusted" by this cartoon in The Times.

It is. Advocating suicide is wrong and in fact illegal even in a progressive country like fair Caledonia.

Is Swinney their best option? I think Forbes would make for better LOLs, so I'd prefer to see her win (I know she's not running).

Fear not Swingy is a Presbyterian too and practising CofS member. So plenty of scope for some more hair shirt moments as the workers are screwed by renewed austerity and the sale of Scotlands assets to International Capital.

I expect the Labour Party to wipe the floor with the SNP at the next election and indeed I expect Labour to win the next general election as a whole .I just don't think it will be as overwhelming as the polls are suggesting but we'll see .

They won't wipe the floor with them but will make significant inroads. Remember it's just a choice between a London puppet controlled centre right Labour or a centre right centrally controlled, so called Indy party. Nothing more.

It's way beyond time that you lot sacked Carlisle. Why not give it a go? It could lift your spirits and reinvigorate your desire for independence.

My desire to see a Scottish Socialist Republic can never be dimmed. Not even by a fake Nationalist Party.
