Still looks as though it's topping out, I hope.

Have you read that article in full? You know, beyond the headline?NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 3:17 pm We haven't even peaked yet.
The prediction for the UK is really scary:

I wonder why?
That article was contradicted by another one published barely two hours later in the Guardian by the same journalist.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 3:17 pm We haven't even peaked yet.

Yeah, that's correct. And my figure doesn't look like a typo so must have copied an old number in by mistake - my bad.BoniO wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 5:11 pmShowing as 938 on here?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 5:01 pmDeaths was 828, guess the number of new infections will be announced in the 5pm conference.

You were abusing a pensioner on here for raising concerns about NHS capacityNuneatonO's wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:27 pm As outlined within the article in The Guardian that I referred to (and linked) earlier.
It is projected that the UK will account for around 40% of Europe's deaths. Worrying, given that we aren't due to peak until around a weeks' time?
At the end of the day, a fair degree of blame clearly has to be pointed at this utterly useless, incompetent Tory Government. Tory sychophants will obviously defend them; and argue otherwise. However, their defence, proven by these increasing numbers, is now embarrassingly wafer-thin.
- Meanwhile, still we await NHS Staff to even be tested!
- Still we await NHS Staff to have correct PPE!
- Still we await the rest of us to be tested.
- And still we await a true figure of the number of respirators that will become available; and by when.
As each day passes, the UK Government briefings are becoming even more desperate, unconvincing, utterly incredulous.
It is clearly apparent that this crisis is being handled by a shambolic, clueless, lying Government.
May God have mercy upon us.

With all due respect, I hear first hand about N.H.S. capacity; to the extent that I probably know more about it than people such as yourself, who appear to rely purely upon the MSM.
Moreover, instead of the usual 'whataboutery', how about addressing the points within a post; instead of forever quoting it; but then diverting from the content within?
