You couldn’t of been a fan when they played.
Thanks for your comment - I have been been supporting the club since 1963. But a Dawson or Vincelot are not whats needed a Steve Castle type would be a closer comparison of what we require (remember him or before your time?)

Dawson and Vincelot both good players but we have a squad with an abundance of defensive midfield holding players and literally no box to box creative attacking players and thats what we need to address. Neither Dawson or Vincelot were attacking midfield players although tbf Romain chipped in with one or two. Both energetic ball winners which is really what Clay and Pratley do and to a far lesser extent Coleman and Brown.

Oh no i remember him well thanks, sorry are you ok or did you just compare clay and pratley to vincelot and Dawson ? Or for that matter brown and Coleman 🤣🤣🤣

Saying that you have supported them sinse 1963 so the senile comment makes sense now.
Far from senile thanks, btw you need some help with your spelling and grammar - sinse 🤣🤣🤣 but you clearly can't help a lack of education.

Suggest you read the post again, I said we need a Steve Castle type of player. Dawson and Vincelot were OK but not good enough to get us promoted were they. Creativity and guile (being clever) is what we need we need now not more defensive minded players, we have Clay to do that role we need someone who can pass the ball next to him.

Yes, we do need a creative CAM. Smyth is our only real option at present and he should be playing further forward anyway.

But we still need a CDM to replace Brown or Coleman now Hector has gone.

Not good enough to get us promoted ? Not sure losing on pens in the final was there fault but they where good enough to get us to a league 1 playoff final which is better than 13th in league two hence why I asked if you was senile, I must of spelt it wrong I meant your a fossil my mistake sorry.

I may be older than you but only one of us is living in the past.(give you a clue - it's not me) I'm talking about what we need to improve next season while you keep banging on about Dawson and Vincelot from years back - how very strange. Anyway much better effort with the grammar, well done!
Cue the next ageist insult.

The one good thing in Hector's favour is that he'll be with better central midfielders at Peterborough than he was at Orient . They might be able to help him blossom into the player we was hoping he would be for us . It'll be interesting to see how he gets on next season .

I wish Hector all the best, but I hope he's a big disappointment for Peterborough and that they regret signing him.

Don't we have a sell-on clause? Surely success would be better for everybody involved?

Thats a good point Oxo, but I'm always disheartened when we sell one of our better players

Yes we do have sell on. Confirmed by RW in the video today on the website

It’s weird if we do have a sell on clause.

It must mean it’s part of the release clause in Hectors contract. Fair play to the club for including that, if so.

So both of my signings rumours are right. This must be a first for this board. (got another one up my sleeve).
It will be Georgiou.

Well done Sir, terrific call. This could be a cracker of a signing. Shows some real intent by the club.

Come on Orient.

Update on Hector, as I was at London Road today with my Posh supporting son to see them wallop second placed Plymouth 5-2, cracking game it was too.

I was surprised when Posh signed Hector, and while I liked him at the O’s, I am not of the opinion he would be in our first choice team this season, hence have been a little surprised he has been starting for Posh in recent weeks. He played well today, got a goal – something he never did for us in the league - and collected a yellow with one wild tackle too! He got forward more today, pleased to see it and for him, especially as I’m obliged to have adopted Posh as my second team.

He is 21 years and has played almost 100 EFL games. He might make to the Championship one day.
