Good sides find ways to win consistently; bad sides find ways to loose consistently. I'd love someone to put together a montage of the reasons and excuses. Sadly this has gone beyond a loss of form and unless someone knows a better way then the manager has to pay the price. Don't worry about Ling just now; he does not pick the players and the formations.

A fish rots from the head...

Ling is a convenient target though. No doubt there will be "fans" who claim Ling selected that team.

Heatbreaking to lose so late, but they were much better than us. We couldnt keep possession, we couldnt string more than 2 passes together, and still the injuries keep coming

Once again in the interview

"we look like an under 23s group at times"

Also on Connor Wood's absence when asked if due to injury

"no he's fine"

Hmmmm

Jackett has to go I’m afraid. 8 points away from the relegation places? Who can honestly say “we’re too good to go down”?
Agree with everything, it’s a tough one to take, but the longer the game went on the more we could all see it coming (well some of us)…
Just 8 points off NL, can’t score a goal and dropping like a stone, some boarders won’t accept it and don’t like to admit it, but we’re in big trouble.

Obviously a major problem between Wood and KJ, don’t think we’re gonna see “Woody” for some while.

And it happened so early in the season too.

Will probably be blamed on Ling.
