Sometimes you have to accept that your club have transgressed the rules and stop trying to defend the indefensible..
Orient failed to fulfill the fixture yesterday. The statement from Orient on the club website confirms this, so why you try to argue against it is beyond me
EFL postponed the game as Orient were not available as
STADIUM RULES with regards TO COVID would
Have been BROKEN.
You carry on in your little fantasy world
Orient failed to fulfill the fixture and will be dealt with accordingly

It's not about the positive tests or games being postponed because of positive tests. It's about the week leading up to those tests and how Orient how Orient dealt with 9 players with a 'bug' and the 2 players who showed 'covid symptoms' on the Friday. On the outside it seems like Orient have picked and choosed when they would follow the EFL's guidelines and when they'd follow the government guidelines.
Honestly, this isn't hard to get your head around. It's baffling how few people on here seem to get it and think the EFL are picking on Orient. They're doing their job.
In your opinion.
What part of that is my opinion?
Your whole post. Wen you say "it looks like" then it is an opinion.

Its all out of context, because the issue is dod Orient fulfill the fixture yesterday. They didn't because they told the EFL they couldn’t field a team.
Stadium rules are irrelevant if you Don't turn up with a team.
You were proven to be 100% wrong re the Spurs game as Orient despite what you claimed failed to fulfill the fixture and forfeited the tie
You seem to allow your support for Orient to blind you to the reality of the situation.

Was it that they couldn't field a team yesterday or were not allowed to field a team yesterday due to the Covid regulations?
Anyway, as said previously, although in Scotland both Aberdeen and Celtic had games postponed due to the breaking of Covid regulations, in Aberdeen's case the team all being in a bar after a game and in Celtic's case a player leaving the country and failing to declare it upon return. I believe that they were fined, in Celtic's case £30k, but no points were deducted and the games rescheduled.
If Orient followed the guidelines posted by Tuffers there should be no punishment but at worst it should be no more than a fine.

The only claim I made was that LOFC closed the ground on sat/Sun after the 1st results
Returned positive & had a team available to play, also
That Public Health as stated by NT closed it between 3pm tueday & 10am
Wednesday .
Other than that i think you maybe confusing me with others

This weekend’s Sky Bet League Two fixture between Walsall and Leyton Orient has been suspended and will not take place on Saturday as scheduled.
Due to the number of positive cases of COVID-19 within the Leyton Orient squad and the requirement for players and staff to subsequently self-isolate as per EFL and Government guidance, the Club has advised the EFL it considers it is unable to safely fulfil this weekend’s fixture.
A revised date for the rearranged fixture will be confirmed in due course.

Yeah, but Sky wouldn’t.
How much influence in all this do the Murdochians wield?
None, since Sky was sold to Comcast in 2018 who acquired all of the shares.

Failing to fulfill a fixture is one rule broken
You talking about the league game or cup?
They failed to fulfill both.
Been dealt with for Cup game by forfeiting the Cup tie
OK, so for the league this is the efl governance.
28 Postponements, Abandonments and Re-Arrangements
28.1 In the event of any League Match not being played owing to Football Association Cup Matches, weather or other causes over which neither Club has any control or being ordered to be replayed it shall be played on a date to be mutually arranged, but at the earliest reasonable opportunity and in any event prior to the last scheduled round of fixtures in the Normal Playing Season. Both Clubs shall notify The League of such arrangements within seven days of the postponement being identified, for the approval of The League. Any League Match not so arranged shall have its date fixed by The League.
There's clearly no breach of any rule there, so can we put to bed your claim of failing to fulfil a fixture rule being broken? The review is not for breaching fixture fulfilment rules. It's to see if we breached any covid rules. It'll be interesting to see the outcome of that.

So if the investigation is into breaking Covid rules but there are no provisions to punish the club under EFL rules what will happen if it turns out they did break them?
