At least England have actually won the World Cup ( both rugby and football) something no other home nation will ever achieve. But we were taken apart by SA. Oh well.

Van diemens land & Australia was full of Irish & Scottish convicts . Usaually found guilty of not being English .
Therefore we have won the world rugby cup twice

Oh well. After the Lord Mayors Show last week for our brave Charioteers, that.
Still, at least we were spared the sight of Boris Johnson looking like a sack of spuds in his England top trying to take some reflected credit for a victory. As Brian Moore so succinctly put it about the career liar’s pre-match bandwagon jumping...”oh, do fu-ck off”
