That would convey an unfair advantage on old English white ladies, you massive racist.

GB's Louie Hinchcliffe goes later in the semis of the men's 100m, having beaten Noah Lyles in the heats. He's the current UK champion and is coached by Carl Lewis, he was relatively unknown until this year.

He's also in with a shout for gold in the "men's haircut".

Womens 85+ world record 18.14

I didn’t say it should be the best 85 year old women

At least he's a young fella; it looks even worse on an older version..I hope Hinchcliffe does well, good to welcome a new competitor.

She’s quality and seems like a great person. Pleased for her and probably hasn’t reached her peak yet.

WR on the pole vault was pretty special too

His WR was the moment of the games so far for me.

The men's 1500 last night was outstanding, what a race. Great effort from Kerr and pretty humble after the race despite all the bluster beforehand, seems like a good guy and a good shot for gold next time out.

Kerr is an absolute bell end.

Watching that yank sneak through on the inside and steal his gold medal was the absolute highlight of the olympics thus far. Just a shame the other one didnt pip him to the silver.

Really?

I don’t mind a bit of arrogance in an athlete, but people being a bit gleeful about Kerr’s pride before a fall isn’t an uncommon or not understandable take IMO

A bit gleeful is one thing, but I stand by someone saying it was the highlight of the whole Games is weird. He even acknowledged in the interview afterwards that he hadn't done what he told everyone he would do - ie win - yet seemed pretty stoked with a silver and a new national record. Clearly likes to talk the talk but also dealt well with the egg on his face.

Highlight of the games is a bit much. That’s obviously the pole vault being foiled by a massive cock
