I’ve always liked George and think he’s a very good player but as you’ve said, he’s got weight and stamina issues. I can remember one game where he was blowing out of his arse only after half an hour.

I think that most O’s fans really like George and want him to do well but he’s let himself down unfortunately and we’ll be fortunate to move him on at this stage.

Not even on the bench yesterday. RW must be itching to move him on.

The club need to a get a new reinforced durable bench before he can be considered as a sub

Exactly . Also don't forget we're probably paying roughly half Pigott's wages at Wimbledon . Both are a big drain on our budget .

Must of had Covid at all his clubs barring Colchester.
In 2 seasons there he played 80 games.
Over 3 seasons at most other clubs he rarely got to 70 games over 3 seasons, even on loan seasons he only got into the low teens played. Compare his run over the time same time frame as Pratley, it's clear to see George doesn't play enough.

So what’s the deal with this bloke then? We just paying him a chunk of our wage budget to sit on his ars* and contribute nothing?

He's one of your own, brings the lord to the dressing room, so must be contributing to the team whilst not playing. Go easy on him

If you don’t have all 6 forward players prepared to run around like dogs, there’s no point going with that game plan.

Just running about a little would be an improvement. That and generally acting like he gave a sh-it.

There’s a good footballer in there somewhere, but he’s a terrible professional. I think he’s a complete waste of space and he should do the decent thing and piss off without taking another penny from us.

Think I mentioned before, there should be something contractually that if you’re not ‘fit to work’ we don’t have to pay you, or something along those lines.
George seems a lovely fella and I think most fans want him to do well but it’s either his attitude or maybe he is suffering from long covid. It’s all very sad but I hope another club gives him a chance maybe on a ‘pay as you play ‘ basis.

Apart from Pratley we’re lacking experience in midfield . We could’ve really done with George being fully fit for Birmingham on Saturday
