I've posted on here for 20 years and never once have I agreed with the indiscriminate killing of civilians. I haven't changed my opinion on that. But then you know that already.

Your so called giving me two opportunities is a redundant meaningless "offer". So I'm wondering what you are getting all defensive about and what you may accuse me of next.

If it saves innocent civilians of course I do.

Just wish some funding could be found for some sort of Iron Dome to protect Palestinian women and children in Gaza and the West Bank too.

What a stupid question. It's designed to deal with missile strikes. They have a different system for ground strikes, which was clearly inadequate.

David Cameron was interviewed this morning by Kay Burley.
She asked him what would Britain do if a hostile country attacked one of our embassies.
He replied we would respond in the strongest way.
So, is ok for us, or any country to respond to an attack, but not Iran.
Israel can kill 30,000 innocent civilians, and no criticism, but Iran gets slaughtered for an attack that resulted in no casualties
Why is it, Israel can do anything it wants, however monstrous, and there are never any sanctions or repercussions.
Every country has to abide by a set of rules if you like, except Israel.

I'm wondering if Iran might have a right to self defence. Is that something you would know about?

This guy seems to know something

Israel attacked the Iranian consulate and murdered several Iranians, Iran was legally entitled to respond.
Israel cannot respond to a response.
If they attack Iran, is an aggressive warlike act

I like the Iranian people, they are great. I know 2 Iranians, they are lovely.
I don't like the current regime in Iran however.
I also don't like Israel's regime either, both are run by extremists
I do like fairness and obviously do not like unfairness, which was the gist of my post

My dentist is Iranian. Good man, good dentist?
But it sounds like you dislike the Israeli regime more than the Iranian?

I would say im no fan of either, equally

I feel Israel however should be sanctioned for terrible murder in Gaza, they have inflicted.
On the first day hat Russia invaded Ukraine, they were sanctioned heavily, yet Israel has been doing terrible things to the Palestinians for years, and has never even been told off

Thought you might say that. So here's one for you : if you had to live in either Israel or a regime that publicly hangs gays from a crane, which one would you choose?

Yeah come on. What's it to be the murderous ethno religious apartheid Israel or the murderous theocratic dictatorship of Iran.

I would have been embarrassed to ask that question as a school kid - how bleedin' simplistic can you get?

Iran is run by a bunch of religious nutcases but so is Israel. I wouldn't live in either Country and there is nothing that could make me so your "if you had to...." scenario is one of the daftest posts I've seen on here for some time.

Well I can assure you I'm not embarrassed by the question. Take in consideration also a bit of tongue in cheek especially when you know to whom I'm addressing this to: someone who has been attacking Israel day and night on here for years no matter what the scenario. No, I would be quite interested for the answer. It's only 'daft' because when it comes to Israel some people are loathe to be seen giving them preference even when we are talking about a despicable and heinous regime such as Iran. They have to resort to sitting on the fence saying they wouldn't choose either.

But the real choice is peace. Not siding with either of two murderous regimes who destabilise the whole Middle East.

Naturally peace. But with all Israels faults, and there are many, I know which regime I would rather live under..
