If RW wants Bonne, heaven and earth must be moved to get him with no excuses.
RW must get the players he wants, not what’s offered to him by the pathetic transfer committee who take forever to make a decision and by then the RW wanted players will have probably gone to another club.
I completely agree Richie must have the last word on transfer targets but if those players are out of our price range there's nothing else we can do other then go after our second choice , and so on .

Well, we all remember the absence of investment in January '14 ........

He already asked for O's fans to try make a better atmosphere , Hope it goes well .
If the team do what they are paid to do and entertain the paying crowd, then there will be a better atmosphere.
spectators pay money to watch the game.
It is up to the players to do their bit.
Footballers are paid to play football Span , not entertain !!
Professional sport is part of the entertainment industry

I would rather the person in charge of the budget has final say. No point in bankrupting club for a single player.
No matter how good a player is, he must ultimately be affordable

Yes I agree but it's down to the board and what the clubs ambitions are . Hopefully we'll have enough money to bring in the players we want but obviously we have a financial ceiling .

Fair enough . Apparently some prominent supporters on here didn't rate him anyway so let's see who we end up with .

Can’t find anything saying he’s gone to Ipswich but probably the case.

Bonne is “ understood not to be on Towns list of January targets” according to this article on the TWTD website.

He was on £10k a week at QPR.
He will have a lot of interest from League one. Our only hope is that Bonne likes Lingys coffee and comes back short term until the end of the season. Like to see it but it’s a long shot.

If he goes to a League 1 club he would probably have to accept a drop in money .I don't know how we compare wages wise to clubs like Accrington or Burton but obviously if a club like Sheffield Wednesday come knocking he'll probably go there . Anyway we'll wait and see.

He’s a smart cookie, he won’t have done this without having something lined up.
Can’t see any Championship clubs taking a punt on him. As for L1 clubs, there are a handful we couldn’t compete with but most of those are top end with Championship hopes of their own and he may not fit that plan. Bottom half, there’s a few bigger than us like Charlton (can’t see that happening), Portsmouth, MK etc but not many.

Well we’ll be L1 next season, so if he’s prepared to slum it for half a season then everybody’s happy.
I would sh*t the bed if he signs.

Where did you pluck that figure from? I looked at one internet source that suggested £4.5k. The truth may be somewhere in the middle.
