Nonsense. Embleton wants to prove he can be a good manager so that they remove the interim tag from his title. No way is he picking a weaker team because of Ling senior - that's just massively paranoid. This isn't the Beelzebub era for god's sake.
I hope your right SF however, RE will surely use and bounce things of ML and I’d say he’d be mad not to, but if he’s to be a success he needs to be his own man in decision making and not following what he’s potentially told by others.

The more I’ve thought about the appointment the more it makes sense to me, I wish the coaching team all the best for the upcoming season.
