Nice ideas and well put forward, but it is all very agrarian. Shame that he lived in fear of mechanisation and mass production which he found difficult to fit into his philosophy. It is odd that Hitler took the same veiw of mass production.

RLB confirms that as a lawyer she was part of the legal team that handed over £190,000,000 worth of OUR NHS assets to a Luxembourg based company through PFI contracts

Whereas Keir was looking after people's Human rights as a lawyer

Tell that to Assange. Don't forget Starmer was Head of the DPP when it kicked off.

It don’t matter who is in charge they are all out to make money for themselves. Left of party, right of party or central, Torres or Labour, all out to steal our money or our countries assets.

Lifelong anti racism campaigner/massive racist (depending on who you believe) Trevor Phillip's suspended from the party "as a matter of urgency" over comments that have been on the record for years.

That's a spectacular move by Labour. Irrespective of whether Phillips is a "massive racist", they really know how to demonstrate their sheer incompetence at PR and situation management.

It's almost like their brains have been paralysed when it comes to issues if race and religion. There needs to be a comprehensive reschooling of the membership.

I don't think Phillips is a massive racist. He's just a FUD.

What islamophobia would that be?

“Tories virus response shows I was right” says Corbs.

This interview slipped under the radar somewhat in the current frenzy, but it’s a claim worth mulling over. Jezza will be off to his allotment and obsessing again over post-colonial hotspot minutae this week. But I wonder if there will be any lasting transformative changes that emerge from our latest shared (inter)national trauma? History suggests there will be.

Barbara Ellen wrote an extraordinary rant about him in the Guardian/Observer this weekend. She's lost the plot completely.

The libs cancelled their contest and put it back one year, Labour would probably be working along similar lines. Kier will win and I think he will make a challenge at the next election and make it a worthwhile battle.

Three most recent polls as Jeremy leaves. After a decade of the Tories.

Long way for Labour to climb

Opinium: Con 54% Lab 28%

NC Politics: Con: 54% Lab 28%

Kantar: Con 50% Lab 29%

History shows that no party have ever come back from such a defeat to gain power next time around and as the government is doing a decent job and will make things even better in future I don’t see how labour can come back. Kier will put up a decent fight, I just wonder how the increased exposure will play out for him.

It was an election held in extraordinary circumstances and therefore no comparisons can be drawn with any previous ones.

The scale of the defeat wasn't as damaging as you seem to believe. The majority is over inflated. Labour will win next time.
