They were often (unintentionally) hilarious. Porter was like a young Alan Partridge, you'd never have guessed he would go on to achieve what he has.

Indeed he has. It would have been all too easy to revert to TTM mode now that there is no need to hide his true self after the club gave him the heave ho.

I will bite George (Max). As someone who has access to my Facebook etc you know who my 'true self' is. Whether you agreed with it or not the 'TTM ' character was an Alf Garnett character made up to wind up the extreme left on this board. Admittedly it was one that went too far sometimes . It was killed off over 3 years ago and I have posted as myself ever since.
Now I am not doing the comms next season, those who don't like me or my style will be pleased , can we not just leave it alone now ? We've lost a great manager, the club is in mourning and frankly page after page of this is both embarrassing and unnecessary.

Mostly harmless fun and not to be taken too seriously I would have thought. Much like digs us boarders share out and get in return (I get my share). Perhaps I am less sensitive to this stuff. I won't comment about this anymore, other than to say this past week has shown the best of O's fans and also the worst. Not naming names, but for an example was the chap on Twitter that suggested the club put out season ticket prices when they did to hide the news of increases. Shameful.
