We can outplay anyone of that it’s quite clear. We lack speed in our play, urgency in movement of ball and players wanting to take responsibility and show for the ball. Lots of people slag off Cisse for playing sideways etc. But you watch when he has the ball who is showing for him? Who is demanding a pass off him? No one hence why he goes sideways etc.

I bet Nigel Travis is enjoying this one. We know how much the yanks love a draw and lack of "scores".

Disagree, we can play sideways effectively but it's not outplaying someone if you make no threat to their goal. Take Wilkinson's individual runs out and what attacking problems does this playing style pose?

Embleton = Davis in a cap

Very sloppy from Happe let Nouble in trying to see the ball out for.a goal kick. Smart save from Vigoroux

It it stays as it is then we're in 10th having played two more games than everyone around us. There's a lot of teams that could leapfrog us.

Very worrying - few chances, too slow in the build ups. Better second half.

Pretty bad performance against a pitifully unambitious Colchester. Only Thompson out of the new signings looked any good today. I don't have a problem with playing conservative possession football per se, but for such a top heavy squad we looked incredibly toothless.

With our current PPG we're on course for 64 points which historically would have us finish 12th-13th on average.

I'm not sure that's anywhere good enough.

Poor performance.
Couldn’t find our men.
Looked toothless all game, we do not create enough chances.
We’ve barely had a draw all season and now I expect us to probably have loads.

Colchester were terrible.

Very frustrating to watch

Bergen wrote: Sat Feb 06, 2021 2:01 pm Hello.

As always sunny, but also very cold in Bergen. -13 this morning.

Leyton Orient: Vigouroux, Ling, Akinola, Thompson, Brophy, Cisse, Clay, Freeman, Wilkinson, Abrahams, Kemp.

Subs: Sargeant, McAnuff, Happe, Dayton, Dennis , Johnson ( :o ), Widdowson,

COME ON ORIENT!!!!!
Son of DOF starting yet gain what a f*cking joke.
Embleton hoping that his new signings will hide Son Of DOFs total lack of aptitude, awareness and inability to do what defenders do as a basic and that is tackle opponents regularly.
Please will someone count the amount of actual tackles he makes, I bet you will be able to count them on one hand.
The nepotism at our club is a stain on our clubs reputation.
My Ling-Count for you:

Positives (good tackle, intercept, crosses, blocks, chances) = 14
Negatives (poor positions, poor marking, second to ball) = 5

Hope you’re right Tuffers. Did you watch today? It was pretty pitiful and Ross has to stand up and take responsibility for this result.

Our possession is not creating chances for the forwards, which is a worry, if it’s the other way round you can working on your finishing, but we just don’t look like we can create a clear cut chance. Our play is way too slow and ponderous, way to predictable and easy to defend against as the oppo is able to get men behind the ball quickly as we move the ball so slowly going forwards.

Oh and Colchester are proper poor.
