That said if this issue leads to a collapse in the UK cost of oysters, langoustine and scollops then brexit will have been worth it.

You can sell food into the EU, but you can't export them in water or soil for example as this wasn't negotiated, so no export of shellfish or plants. That kind of story is getting reported across endless small industries and does add up to quite a lot of businesses looking at collapsing.

Brexit: 71 pages of paperwork for 1 lorry of fish
71 Pages for 1 lorry ?
Itll be the Easiest deal in History .
At least someone who would otherwise have been on the dole sees a benefit, and seems like a good salary, even generous seeing as it's just form filling and possibly part time.

Having met Peter Cowgill and been in meetings with him I’m surprised it’s taken him this long to put that in place. Most businesses within that sector will have already opened warehouses on mainland Europe so as to allow their business to trade without too many issues. It’s a sensible move for his business.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:40 pm JD Sports taking a thousand jobs out of britain & giving them

I'm as surprised as you. Pete is normally on top of situations like this. Do you think he's losing it?Thor wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 6:25 pmHaving met Peter Cowgill and been in meetings with him I’m surprised it’s taken him this long to put that in place. No not at all, just surprised that he had not already had an operation up and running before now. His business acumen is top class, look at JD and it’s net worth, it’s far in excess of the company that owns it! He has been a massive success story and many a businessman could learn a thing or two from him.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 6:35 pmI'm as surprised as you.
