Headingley Test 81. Whatever he was on that day it worked. I remember being at Southchurch Park, Southend watching Essex and hearing the cheers go up from those listening on the radio to the Test match, every time an Aussie wicket fell. I’m glad it’s preserved on YouTube. RIP Bob.

Rene Auberjonois has passed away aged 79. I rember him from Star Trek Deep Space Nine he also appeared in numerous tv shows.

I admit to being totally obsessed with her on screen in those early Godard movies I’d catch in rep at the likes of the Everyman, Hampstead. Look her up on google images if you don’t know who I mean. Would often dodge football on a Saturday afternoon to go watch those Arthouse Cinema efforts instead where I’d stare at her staring back from the screen.
