No, the OP was saying in his usual hyperbolic way that this signing was a distraction. That is, of course, absolute tosh.

Obviously, the team needs strengthening, no team needs it more than this, by bringing in the keeper, they are improving the team, but as a side issue it acts as a distraction...........give the fans a new player, and they'll forget the balls up we have made of the managerial situation.
Cant see how some cant see that
According to the league table other teams need strengthening more than Orient.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 10:24 am Shall we try and get a bit more clarity into all this?

You really are paranoid to say it serves as a distraction when the management are doing their jobs. Are they supposed to just dwell on the managerial ballsup or put it behind them and focus on improving? Do you really think people will accept future poor results and performances just because we've signed a good keeper (and likely other players too)?
Think you need to quit while you're behind on this one.
Hello Smen, seems you are just arguing for arguing sake now . I mean, anyone with any foresight or are able to read between the lines, will know that all the original poster was saying is that there is a much more bigger problem to deal with rather than getting carried away or distracted by a new signing. He has never said that we shouldn't be signing new players as you are saying in order to enforce your argument home. In fact he did say, 'that it seems a decent signing'.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 10:37 amAccording to the league table other teams need strengthening more than Orient.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 10:24 am Shall we try and get a bit more clarity into all this?

What? Better than Brill? You were quick to dump your old favourite.RedO wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 6:24 pm The only two embarassing themselves are those suggesting we’ve signed a keeper as a distraction, to throw us a few crumbs, they’re the words used.
It’s laughable. We’ve signed a new keeper because we needed one, and because this lad appears to be an improvement on what we’ve already got.
You know it would probably have been best all round if you'd followed through on your threat to stop supporting the team because you didn't like last season's new kit.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 1:11 pmHa Ha.just listen to yourself!!!!!Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 10:37 amAccording to the league table other teams need strengthening more than Orient.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 10:24 am Shall we try and get a bit more clarity into all this?

The only making something out of nothing is claiming that signing a good quality keeper is a distraction. As RedO says, the only embarrassing is being done by you and ComeOnYouOs too. Time for you to follow his lead and quit while you're behind.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 6:18 pmHello Smen, seems you are just arguing for arguing sake now . So, I don't know what you're rambling on about. You're making something out of nothing. Best to stop embarrassing yourself.
I know but you have to move on and accept what’s best for the team.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 7:03 pmWhat? Better than Brill? Wonder if he will go back to just coaching from next summer.RedO wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 10:15 amI know but you have to move on and accept what’s best for the team.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 7:03 pmWhat?
