Ian Holloway has been appointed the new Grimsby manager . You see , hiring an experienced manager isn't exactly rocket science . Still, it's beyond Orient .

Another decent manager gone elsewhere. We really are a complete and utter shambles.

We dodged a bullet with that one.

Wonder what Deek Adams or Alex Snowy McLeish is doing these days.

Why stop there? How about Walter Smith?

I note that Daryl McMahon has been second in the betting to Ross for a while. Maybe it’s a shrewd plan to acquire him free of charge when Macclesfield go pop, as opposed to move for him now. I’m not advocating him though, he doesn’t tick the ‘enough experience and some success at this level’ box for me.

I heard and understood what you said about Ian Holloway but it's disappointing we still haven't appointed an experienced manager. Grimsby have managed it in double quick time . With all due respect to Grimsby are they really that much better than us . ?

I agree but if Macclesfield do go under I would expect Daryl McMahon to be high on our list .... of course that's if we have a list .

Depends who creates the list. Would you trust again the same muppets who presided over the last shambles?

There is no list, we are not looking as evidenced from everything that has come out the club. Travis own words were “we are close to announcing a new manager” no rumours about this, nothing moving in the betting odds, no comments from anyone.

We are in the do do.
