That's bordering on the IMBECILIC. I expect better from you.
That's one of the nicest things you've ever said to me.

But honestly, do you really think those bright new shiny houses will go to those who have been living here for years paying their taxes ?
Of course not, especially when it comes to that forgotten species, single men, people who go to work, pay their way, but go straight to the bottom of the list !!

Sooo, you're saying there aren't enough council houses for single men and that therefore building more is not a sensible thing to do?

Where I live, single mums and immigrant families get far higher priority than single men who have been on the list for many years, its just how it is and I am not talking about houses, any council accommodation be it flats or houses etc.

the point is labour keep saying there is a housing crisis in this country.
so lets open the doors a let every tom willy and harry in.
all the houses then will be allocated to immigrants owing to there needs being greater.
in other words f...k people who have been waiting for years. so much for a great policy.

So it really does sound as if there's a need to build more council accommodation around where you live?

However, the flee of foreign investment from the country, the potential risk cutting of jobs will result in a lower tax take which makes balancing the books harder still.

Once labour take control of the sectors they intend hitting there is absolutely zero reason to want to invest in public companies cos at anytime the government can nationalise them. BT have said to take back open reach will cost over 100bn which is 5 times what labour believe. Then you have the issue over eu rules on state ownership how will that work? Who knows cos labour ain't saying.

How will labour pay for this? Government bonds, I doubt people will invest in them after they've ripped companies from the public to state hands.

Page 15 of this document (only a couple of years old) shows that 91% of Social Housing tenancies in England are let to UK-nationals - so that means only 9% are let to non-UK nationals - that's quite a long way short of "all the houses will be let to immigrants", isn't it?

Jesus H Fuking Christ another bleating supporter of the capitalist system who doesn't understand how it works.

Capitalists invest because the internal logic of capital means it always seeks a return. There will be investors because there will be a return.

How does the 'flee of foreign investment from the country' result in a lower tax take? That doesn't make any sense.

That's not nearly as good a response as you think it is. The document is from the government's own website.

It almost seems as if the CEO of BT has a vested interest in the company not being nationalised and is pulling huge figures out of his bumhole.

Who doesn't love a guaranteed return? And if all those lovely profits are coming straight back to the government rather than off shore to investors, they'll be able to offer great rates on those bonds. Great rates of guaranteed returns. Pension funds and private investors alike will be queueing up to buy them.

Exactly. Corbyn is saving capitalism for the Thors of this world but they can't see it because they understand nothing but their own selfishness and greed.
