It seems to me that the players played for Ross but their not playing for Fletcher . Their the same player Ross had that are now doing so badly for Fletcher.

I don't blame Fletcher, they challenged harder than we did and worked harder off the ball. Basic stuff.

What was Fletcher bloody well thinking. Three games in and I'm already turning against him . Is negative tactics now going to be the future .Four four two wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:45 pm This is exactly what happens when managers employ negative tactics. We had wilkinson, Maguire Drew and Dennis on the bench. Harold struggling on his own up front . Well done Fletcher for getting us into this unnecessary mess ! When Angol comes back from injury will he leave him out as well ? up the O's !

He came on again and was his usual embarrassing self.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:43 pmI've been a critic of Alabi but the bloke scores one and wins a penalty in his last outing and hasn't played since . What exactly do we need him to do .If Fletcher isn't going to play him why bother having him on the bench

They didn't play that much for Ross at times either. Quite a few need to head out the exit door in January I think.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:47 pm It seems to me that the players played for Ross but their not playing for Fletcher . Ultimately this is what you get for moving up a level and not addressing the weaknesses in the squad, which are being ruthlessly exposed in L2.

He wasn’t the right choice in the first place. Helen Keller would have seen that coming.

At least it makes losing in the Rugby a bit less painful. Two typical Orient performances in one day yeeesh

I was going to write EXACTLY the same thoughts, but decided to wait till someone else did it.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:47 pm It seems to me that the players played for Ross but their not playing for Fletcher . Their the same player Ross had that are now doing so badly for Fletcher.
So far, I just cannot warm to this guy and can completely understand if the players are not inspired by him.
A very expensive mistake if he ends up leaving the club early due to bad results.

If he goes early, so should Ling. The whole process was shambolic.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:55 pmI was going to write EXACTLY the same thoughts, but decided to wait till someone else did it.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:47 pm It seems to me that the players played for Ross but their not playing for Fletcher . Lost 1-0 . IMO, that's our worse result of the season . Well done Fletcher you're off to a great start .

Negative tactics we can do without and as far as I am concerned Fletcher can p*ss off back to Bournemouth!!

I am absolutely f*cking disgusted with the apparent performance as well as the score. Disgraceful, pathetic, unprofessional, useless. And they are my positive thoughts.

Should of got Russell Slade in, rather than got Fletch out of Slade Prison.

Re: Exiles thread vs Morecambe 2/11
He clearly wasn't . Didn't we all say we needed an experienced manager . Fletcher hasn't managed for 6 years and it's beginning to show . If I was him I would bring in a couple of loan signings ASAP . Today was totally unacceptableDisoriented wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 4:52 pm He wasn’t the right choice in the first place. Re: Exiles thread vs Morecambe 2/11
It's far too early to question Fletcher's authority. That having been said there's plenty of problems in this team imo. At the very least we need a new goalie, a dominant midfielder and a forward who can score regularly. Brill's just not quite good enough. He's bang average as a shot stopper and his distribution isn't good enough. It doesn't seem he can properly organise a defence at this level. On top of that I've always been uncomfortable with his dual role as GK coach and player. The midfield's full of problems. If we want to get more service to the forwards then I'd start JMD but as the moment we're not solid enough in the centre of the park. I don't particularly rate Wright although I'm sure I might get slaughtered for saying so. We're also in real trouble up front if Angol and Wilkinson are out as today's game demonstrates only too clearly. I'd probably be happy with mid table at the end of season but I think we'll be lucky to get that. I just don't see us showing any progress as a team and that's what really worries me.

Who actually watched the game on a stream? Can you give an objective view please on what you watched. Cos from the above and I don’t doubt anyone posting here it seems like it was dire.
So disappointed.
So disappointed.

Hopefully he will be replaced by then , his negative tactics are a disgrace and an insult to all O’s supporters.
