Why on Earth would he drop down to L2 when he is currently demonstrating that he is more than capable of playing at L1 level?

Just been reading about the reason why he wears the No 18 shirt. Very moving. I like MB, he is a real battler. He is only 26 - plenty of goals left in him.

Good all-rounder, decent target man despite not being the biggest. Probably lacks the pace for a spot in RW's forward line. I enjoyed him playing for us but the NL is a long way from the FL.
