If I was the owner I'd give Richie the budget to bring in those two extra players he wants but in the meantime try a move on Gordon and Craig and possibly Cahill who in my opinion has done nothing wrong. However that would be it . We need to start improving .
If I was the owner I would sack Richie immediately for the total lack of respect he gave me.
He presided over a complete joke of a season last year and it ain’t started great this FFS

Please God it doesn't happen but if and when Richie gets sacked and we start sliding down the drain I'll be coming back to you .

Yesterday, we lost to a better team. It happens. But, what shouldn't happen is that we shut up shop like a boxer on the ropes, stopped daring to press, and lost our self assurance and confidence. 'Broke my heart to see so many so called fans walking out just when the team needed a boost from the terraces.
Strange, really, when the day before many of us (including me) thought we'd assembled a squad that had potential.
What next, I wonder.
True , on the day Barnsley were simply better than us and deserved the win . Our players are only human and for some reason Barnsley's first goal knocked some confidence out of them . We can and will play much better than that . Anyway that's in the past now so we've got to fully focus on Bromley Tuesday night . We've got to get a win to stay in touch with the top teams . Although we're currently 16th we're still only 4 points off top spot . It's only the end of August for goodness sake so still plenty of time to put things right and improve . If we're playing badly by Christmas then I will start to get concerned.
You have to wonder why we go to pot as soon as we concede a goal at home just like we did last season with a completely different set of players.
Do you not think that could be something to do with the manager?

Sorry Red, but you are blindly obsessed with this man..

Its better than
Charlton a 1-0
Portsmouth h 0-4
Shrewsbury town a 3-0
Dont forget that wycombe put us out of
the cup that season & we finished 11th
Following season wasn't any better really either
& we finished 6th .
Richie is just continually embarrassing our football club and himself. The tantrums, shocking disciplinary record, total lack of accountability, nepotism and neverending violin playing is unbecoming and not what I want from our leader.
I used to like the man but it’s getting really old now. I’ll accept being mid table if we have a grown up managing us.
Not the same..
As you know I've been saying for some time now that Wellens has had his time at this club. He's been found out for what he is and he needs to move on. Others like Red are saying he's the best manager we've ever had and that we would sink without him - clearly a nonsense. Two completely different pots and kettles.
I've been a big supporter of Richie since he arrived but I do get the criticism. Unfortunately a major part of being a manager these days (and maybe it always was) is perception management. The attention of fans and media is intense and granular and patience has got shorter and shorter. Managers have to speak out of both sides of their mouth, say one thing to one audience and another to another. If you feel gaslit, you're probably right.
