Also, “he is not and has never been employed by the BBC, he is employed by a production company from which we buy a programme, and such arrangements are under constant review” was literally the fictional justification that Alan Partridge claimed the BBC used after sacking him for killing Forbes McAllister live on air

The fact that some news is made up is surely a reason to care whether or not you’re sharing something that’s fake or not, no?

This isn't fake.
I have a lot of time for Melanie Sykes. She's always come across as decent and honest. She's now saying that she complained about him before, but was ignored. And that his behaviour was a reason why she quit television.
I think a suitable punishment for the bosses is that, whatever act Greg was threatening to do to these women, should be forcibly done to them. By Greg. On TV.

She didn't raise a formal complaint which is why it never went further.
I read also that inappropriate touching has now been alleged and not just the sexualised jokes and bantz.

She comes across really well in that video, even moreso for insisting GW shouldn't be the sole scapegoat and - to an extent - some of it isn't his fault if complaints aren't acted on or passed on and those responsible for the programmes don't manage the talent properly and are too sh*t scared to tell them what is, and isn't, acceptable.

Am hoping something similar happens to Brendan O'Carroll.

Correct decision by the BBC to take the Masterchef Christmas Specials off our screens.
As Labour MP Rupa Huq has said: “I mean it could be massively triggering for the women involved - in fact any woman involved in any type of similar incidents.”
Gregg Wallace must not be allowed to trigger women (massively or otherwise), especially over the Christmas period.

The BBC are saying that more serious allegations have now been made about Greg. The details are yet to be confirmed but, if they're even worse than what we've been told already, I fear he may have posted micro-aggressions in WhatsApp groups.

Imagine the look of disappointment on his loveable face when he heard reports he was going to get pulled off, only to realise they meant off air.

It's just so fascinatingly childish. He would have been in his late 40s when this happened.

Agreed. Although, I admit that I'm now intrigued as to what the BSL translation for big boobs is.

Who would have thought that Wallace was a wrongun’!
Not me, I was at a social event once. He cannot ‘read a room’. Made some very racist remarks in front of an Irish mate who was married to an Asian woman. Nobody reacted , it was embarrassing, he walked away.
What did he actually say? Not the “Me so horny” schtick again surely.
