Good to get it in the box for the last 2 mins - note to team try it for the full 96 mins.

Wellens is really struggling with how to respond to set backs for us. Two games in a row of setting up well, missing chances and then giving a direct goal away, at which point it falls apart.

Kelman is a back up quality striker. We need to play Agyei up there again, even if it costs us something in the press. Kelman had several moments of being completely indecisive when in promising positions, whilst Agyei showed what a better quality forward does in those situations.

Lincoln look a solid well set up team and really turned it on in the second half.

First half dominated the ball, zero shots on target.

Recipe for relegation.

Need to play agyei as our number 9 right up front play kerman on the bench give dj a chance on the wing and with happe missing play Cooper with Simpson drop buckles

We were beaten at the end of the window when we failed to sign a couple of decent strikers, and if people are still saying Kelman isn’t that bad then you need help including Wellens.

Why on earth would you drop Beckles for Simpson?

For the first time I'm beginning to question Richie . Today proved Kelman up top isn't the answer .

Sadly this is going to be the same every week, we don’t have any attacking threat, or the experience players to drive us forward, we lack any leadership and without an attacking threat you are not going to win games.
The team is simply not good enough for L1
Idris use to collect the ball drive us forward and pass to wide players to get our attacks going, we simply do not have that player this season.
We just play crab style passes across back and in midfield, boring boring possession football, without any attacking threat, and when we get near oppositions half we go backwards.
No width
No Pace up front
No clue
Honestly don’t know what RW can do with this team, we need to hang in and try to grind out a few points between now and Jan, and just hope RW gets a big magic wand for Xmas.

Bottom 6 in L1 already 5 points adrift of the rest

I know this probably won’t get an objective answer because of the emotion after losing - but is it fair to say we lack cutting edge but we’ve also been a bit unlucky. Sounds like on another day some of this chances go in and the game changes.

We massively lack balance and need more up top but still think we’ll be alright…

To answer you Q
We were not unlucky today, we were very poor and got what we deserved

Forget all about the play offs. We have a bad team so this season is just all about survival . I really don't know why we didn't sign a new striker during the Summer .

When you looked at the 2 Lincoln goals, it showed you what decent strikers do
Quick decisive, no messing about.... Everything we lack up front.
Kelman works so hard, but he is such a poor striker, indecisive, always trying to get the ball in a better position, rather than just hitting it.
I'm afraid unless something magical happens in January, we will be relegated
As an aside, I think Cooper is a much better player than Simpson, and deserves the shirt next game

Had since January to get two strikers lined up and the best the DoF and his recruitment team can come up with is an ex-academy player from Leeds who has about as much L1 experience as Edwards did in January. Appalling.

Although a lot of the games have been close, the problem is, losing becomes a habit.

I guess the thing is you can only be 'unlucky' so many times before you realise you make your own luck.

We were in a worse position form and performance wise in autumn/winter last year. Still think we'll be fine, even if it is glaringly obvious we didn't get our attacking recruitment right this summer.

Indeed. That could prove to be a very expensive stupid mistake .

Tbf despite a modest improvement recently our goalkeeping recruitment this summer also leaves a lot to be desired imho.
