Scotland will be leading 1-0 v Hungary, it will be another OG as that’s the only way The Scots can score
Hungary will then break the Scottish hearts with a 90th min goal to send Scotland crashing out at the group stage of a major football tournament once again.
The press and pundits will all be, poor Scotland, so unlucky, blah blah blah
But realistically, in a tournament where you can just win 1 game and still qualify 3rd in a group of 4 teams, it’s harder not to qualify than it is to qualify.
So Scotland have failed and let their nation down and it should go down as a disastrous tournament.
Bye bye Scotland
Have a nice flight home on Sun evening.

Hungary exposed some flaws in the Germany team I thought. Look quite vulnerable on the break and defensively a little flimsy. Hungary obviously a decent team and play some lovely stuff, their first game was a big disappointment.

I wholeheartedly bought into the pre-tournament Hungary hype and this is already severely hampering my Euro predictions comps and Fantasy League. The squad owe me a bottle or two of Unicum.

Portugal for me, as long as they drop Ronaldo.

Nice to see you giving a lift to our fellow Brits... You should be concentrating on what England will or won't do, not worrying about Scotland.

Yeah, I had to google that too. I had visions of some awful student concoction, but thankfully it's perfectly innocent:

As per usual Southgate’s lack of tactical ability by playing his usual two deep midfielders and trying to hang on to a one nil lead will cost us

They played rubbish in the last game so what does Southgate do, he picks exactly the same team and tactics, people that think Southgate is a good manager are deluded.

I’m a Southgate defender. That was proper proper dogshit. In a tournament full of excitement England bringing down the mood. 4 points probably enough to go through

I thought this would be a tournament too far for Southgate. He's making up a midfield set up on the hoof and it really showed - Trent is either not cut out for that role or is being given dreadful instructions, the attack is disjointed as hell, the pressing is all off and we look completely uncomfortable playing out from the back. I can accept that maybe some of these players are overrated but looking that turgid against two bang average teams reflects awfully on how we're approaching these games.
