That’s the spirit, how to get behind your team, after 6 league games and a Micky mouse cup game. Do you think it’s going to help the team spouting your negativity based on what ….your anger and disappointment. It’s at times like this we need to get behind the team and support them. That’s what I’m going to do, what are you going to do Sid ?
You have many more comments from others as well to reply to if you are going to sound off to everyone who wrote very negative comments about the teams performance tonight. Lastly Indiscipline in this team from the top downwards, needs sorting quickly.
Ignore him Sid, he’s a sycophant who doesn’t actually know much about football from what I can tell. Had him on foe for a while and it’s improved my boarding experience. I’d suggest doing the same

The first half we were good, in control and deserved to be one up. Not 100% sure the ball crossed the line, but the ref gave it.
Second half Brynn made two excellent saves and looks a quality keeper. Forde red card appeared to be very harsh. Cooper's was a red . And with Cooper going, just like that ,we were down to 9 men. Pen was a pen, poor tackle from El Miz. No blame on Beckles for the OG could not be avoided.
Macauley Bonne would have been glad to be carrying a lot of extra timber to soften the impact when Cooper stamped on this chest.
EFL trophy cards only count in that competition, guess a 3 game ban will apply to Forde and Cooper so could be back for the quarter finals.
Galbraith, Pratley, and Pegrum played well. Sadly Pegrum couldn't ppp pick it up second half.
To all those blowing a gasket on here tonight calm down you'll do yourselves harm.

For the next 2 games v Fulham u21 & Pompey, we should play the Leyton Orient U12s, this cup is a waste of everyone’s time and should be treated like it!
We need everyone fit and available for what matters, L1 survival, and not have our 1st team players turning out in this sh!te cup refereed by amateur Sunday morning refs who don’t have a clue what is a foul, what is a yellow and what is a red.
Absolute joke, stick your cup competition up your arse EFL!
Just hope Cooper & Forde are available for Sat?
Absolutely . This really is a piss pot competition.

I can laugh about tonight because I really don't care about this competition but wtf is going on with our lack of discipline and all these cards we're getting . I'm beginning to think we're not actually as good as we think we are . We can't defend , we can't score and we can't keep eleven men on the pitch . I'm afraid Richie really has got his work cut out .

Careful, you’ll attract the wrath of the “anyone who posts anything that isn’t exuberant praise about Leyton Orient and it’s staff aren’t a TRUE FAN” brigade. There’s a few few of them on here tonight.

You just have to look at tonight's results to see that this competition isn't taken too seriously.
Our game at Exeter is far more important

Carabao Cup... fairly tinpot
EFL Cup... plastic joke competition, an insult to League 1 and 2 sides
Now if we get knocked out the FA Cup without a whimper that would be disappointing as we need a run in that this year.

After watching Paul Terry’s interview last night I think I’m beginning to see a pattern emerging. We play well , was the better side but we lose and either have a man sent off or get more than our fair share of bookings . So far this season We have more cards than we have points.

Your entitled to your views Sid just as others are, the fact remains at this present time we have won only one game, had more cards Red and yellow cards including the coaching staff than I can remember have more goals against than for, didn’t manage to beat a lower league team with a full strength side last night, have two very hard away fixtures coming up and sit firmly in the bottom four. Now with that said I think we should all jump for joy not. Last season was great and there was plenty of praise for the club and they accepted it now they will have to accept the criticism until they sort it out. End of

We're not distraught , far from it . We're simply making observations because our league form has to improve .

Just for balance we were not at full strength last night - Pegram, Sanders and Cooper were all making their first starts and we made Eight changes from Saturday. - We were missing James, Turns, El Miz, Ruel, Archibald and Graham from Saturdays starting line up, Sweeney still concussed and Drinan and Agyei still injured. It was an under strength side that performed well up to the discipline issues although Forde should not have seen red for a tangle of legs.

Not trying to debate the rights or wrongs of Forde’s dismissal but it was the linesman who called the referees attention to the incident claiming Forde had raised his hands to the Gillingham defender.

Excuses, excuses, but its not so much of a Mickey Mouse competition if your team manages to reach the cup final and win it !!
Also its an extra game to give a chance to use reserve players and those trying to regain fitness and also handy to experiment and try out different positional changes, tactics etc. Lastly talking of ''Mickey Mouse' cup competitions, try telling that to the West Ham fans who celebrated after winning the ''Mickey Mouse'' UEFA Europa Conference League.
