Never heard of him. Is he better than Shaford?

Cannot see us signing anybody. Both RW and Nigel said on the podcasts that players would come in and go this week.I would rather they had said nothing.

I agree, it's called managing expectations from the owner and manager. Best to have said nothing if nothing happens. still 3 hours to go so you never know

Correct. They just say what people want to hear, how many rumours have there been on the board. Richie and the chairman have said things about people coming and going, there saying it to keep people quiet. They have done there business weeks ago. All the interviews with Richie pointing out Ling on the phone, he was probably ordering a Chinese. In all seriousness they could have got a CB loan in as a precaution, that may come back to bite them?🙊

Really? I prefer to think they meant and believed what they said. It may not have have worked out but T & T are not the type to "say what people want to hear".

Very surprised there's no sign of any academy players going out on the usual work experience loans, no takers?

They can still go out on loan to Nin-League clubs as their window remains open.

Didn't notice him. The one that stood out for them - again - was Reid up top on his own who knocked Turns all over the place.

Of course you didn’t, you don’t actually watch the game. His movement caused our defenders a lot of issues. He made great runs off of Happe and James. Got himself a goal too. The exact type of player Richie wanted.

Ooooh, Man You fwends!

I repeat, Reid was the one who caused all the grief. His grit and determination is first class. I'd love him as our CF.

Evans agrees with Biggsy. Lot of praise for McNeil from 1:25 onwards. Basically saying exactly the same as Biggsy.

Agree. Saw him a lot at Posh (my son supports them), but as with Nathan Thompson and Ben Thompson – two good L1 pros – they left Posh for old boss Steve Evans. Getting that kind of L1 experience, and there were three other recruits from L1 clubs, put Stevenage in an excellent position to adapt, and love him or hate him Evans knows the league and gets results.

I’m not saying our recruitment is bad - Galbraith looks a really good signing and I think Sanders will prove to be similar – and the injury crisis has blighted our season, but Stevenage’s recruitment looks better.

What about if I tell you Reid has a Man Utd duvet and curtains in his bedroom, will you rate him then?

Reid is an absolute nightmare to play against. He always causes us trouble. I repeat, again, I would love him here.

Yep, he absolutely battered us Saturday. Perfect lower league player for that battering ram role, contested every single ball so even the most hopeful of punts could cause trouble. Isn't the most prolific but the amount of chaos he causes openings for others. If Wellens has a blind spot, it's underrating that type of player in favour of tidy, technically proficient types who can exchange passed quickly and have a good first touch, but can't impose themselves on a game when it becomes more of a slog..
