One sloppy error with Bronze overdoing the run and punished ruthlessly for it. Brave changes from Wiegman at HT, hoping for. Lauren James redemption story this half.
Yeah, Lucy Bronze did a perfect Ruel there, completely ran into a cul-de-sac, lost the ball
and England were made to pay for it.

I didn't want to say it but I was thinking it
This game has surely got to have 15+ minutes of stoppage time what with the VAR, Greenwood injury and Spain players hitting the deck ever 5 mins

Bleedin Spanish.
We haven't had enough shots on goal.

More appalling refereeing, so it seems you can throw the ball away and not get booked provided you're the Spanish star player
13 added mins come on England

Senoritas spent most of the second half rolling around on the floor. Beaten us well though.

One error that's all it takes, Bronze won't sleep tonight
Absolutely hate Spanish football and their rolling around on the floor, so much for this crap about stopping time wasting they used up about 5 of the added time flopping around

For me Spain are the best team in the tournament so it’s going to be tough, but well done the Lionesses on a fantastic display today and a really professional job to date. A pleasure to watch.
Yes its going to be tough but at least we have got there now its all to play for !
Spain best team in tournament, really
I bet you weren’t saying that after they got hammered 4-0 by Japan.
The best team won. Bet you’re not laughing now Stan.

That's the thing I've noticed, as the stakes get higher it's becoming more like the men's game with the tactical fouls, feigning injury etc.

Spain deserved winners. Edged us tactically and with technical ability.
Still, more than decent performance from England.

Natural progression
The Women's game has improved so much in recent times where it is just morphed into the other stuff. I can watch the Premier or Champions League already for that type of football. The "Orient" and similar, experience of underwhelming as the norm with the occasional flourishes of stand out moments are what I prefer myself

England was playing "poke & hope" football, especially first half. They were mullered & also so much "gamesmenship" ( cheating ) for the Spanish penalty. But our media overhyped this game somewhat terrible- virtually calling the team World Champions before a ball kicked

The Spanish girls were technically superior to the English girls, thus, the Spanish team were never seriously tested.

Can’t wait for all those who pretended to care about it to go and support their womens teams now. Game grows by full stadiums, not by eatching on tv.

I was yelling at the tv for someone to mark the back, Caldante I think. Every time she got the ball she had the whole side of the pitch to run down.

After the way the FA turned their back on us when that Italian was destroying our club has killed my support of the England Mens and Womens teams

No i’m certainly not laughing, honestly didn’t see that result coming today, Spain were very good, too good on the day for Lionesses, I’ll tip my hat to Spain they were best team and deserved to win
