I would like some please. I’ve had a PS5 for a few years but it gathers dust. I played Gran Turismo a bit but that’s it. I usually only play Football Manager on my laptop but that’s cancelled this year so I need an alternative.

Problem is I haven’t owned a console for circa 20 years so don’t know where to start.

I used to like Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne (PC), Actua Golf and Knockout Kings (PS1) and Goldeneye (N64). So any games like that will do cheers 👍🏻
God of War.

Currently based on Norse mythology (first batch of games were Greek myth). It is bloody and violent but also, as with all of the games, the story is brilliant and absorbing.
Interesting, is it rooted in history and/or actual mythology or is there just some dude called Thor with a hammer?

If it helps, a LOT of fans of the game thought that Bella Ramsey was not a good choice for the role. She doesn’t feel like the same character, really.

The concept is definitely a bit depressing though

I've actually got virtually zero time to play, i can no longer do 50 hour single player games. I like to hoover up games when they're on sale though. Coop and arcade type games i can pickup and play quickly are what i mostly play now.

Definitely get on Astro bot, and maybe Ratchett & Clank. Both modern takes on the pick up and play, platforming genre, but hugely fun.

Thinking about it, it’s been ages since I got into one of those real time sink games. Star Wars outlaws I have only played for twenty minutes, and I did similar with the Hogwarts game. Usually now if I sit down with a video game it only takes a few minutes before I feel like I could be drawing something, or brushing up on me guitaring.

Not that I have anything against the idea of getting into a game, just very few now feel like they’re good enough for the required time investment

I'll definitely get astrobot as the psvr one was one of the best games on ps4, which I've recently got around to completing. I'll finish the one bundled with the ps5 first though

I’m currently enjoying Mount and blade bannerlord although it’s not as easy to manoeuvre on ps5 as it is on pc

PS Plus members get £215 credit to their Netflix bill when you buy a console direct from Sony

So I've bought a PS5 for £389, minus the credit coming to me thats £174

If you dont have psplus just sign up for 1 month for £6.99
Awesome, cheers for this.

Can’t get my head around a discless version though. Our ps4 is only ever used for Fortnite and Fifa, don’t have the PS+ subscription and wouldn’t be looking to get it, presumably better off paying the extra if only so we can still play the PS4 games we have (otherwise we’d be forking out for EA 25 instantly anyway).

Without a disc drive you would be limited to purchasing games from the online store, yes.

I would always go with a disc version.

You can play your PS4 EA 25 version on the PS5 but thats not going to be the same as the PS5 version of EA 25. But its sh*t anyway, so I wouldnt worry.

You mean without a disc drive, right?

Did you go for the more expensive disc drive model? Looked as though you hadn’t from your post.

Improved yes but not sure its worth the money because looks like they've pretty much given up on it so wouldnt expect many more games to be released for it.

Ordered one.

Literally no reference to The Deal when buying it or on the order email, so fully expecting to have to argue this one out next week 🙄

All Norse mythology. Trolls, Thor, Odin, Freya, Mimir, Dwarves, Jormagander...it's all there but the creator's own interpretations (brilliant interpretations).

If you search for Thor God of War you should see a picture of what I mean....he's a big fat lump because of the drinking and has Milnir.
