Yeah but we have had two months to get this sorted tbf and it been obvious where the gaps on the squad were.

Nothing to gaurentee that our #1 targets will be available in a week or two, we are waiting on Louis Dennis at Pompey but that looks very unlikely to happen now he has a squad number at Pompey. There are still dozens of club less players looking for clubs we are in a good position to move for players there will be plenty available who can enhance this team.

I was a little worried with Embletons slightly unconvincing "you would like to think so" response to Dave Victors will there be players coming in.

Sorry did I wake you up
Divert attention?😂😂😂
Yes, and the bottom line is, you dropped a boll--k... A big one.
I know you like to nibble CCH but try and take a decent bite zzzzzz😋
No, I'm certainly not interested in "nibbling" away at you. I was forlornly waiting to see if you were mature enough to admit you dropped a boll--k., instead of just making excuses.

Ross is not influencing much. Ling Snr is the top dog making all the decisions. If by some miracle Ross delivers on the pitch I for one will be mighty relieved. But I have to say I’m concerned for us this season and as we get closer to kick off my concerns are increasing. The non-appearance of key players and limited depth means we are totally reliant on a few key players. But tbf no different to last season and that went well enough. But we’ve moved up a level and with a weaker squad.

Not having seen the current level in L2 it’s hard to judge how good or bad we are. We may be pleasantly surprised.

Is this a copy and paste from season 2018/19?

I did mention no different to last season in that we are reliant on a few key players. Same this season, but a higher level. I hope I’m pleasantly surprised this season too. Mid table will do nicely.

And hopefully there won’t be so many teams to “stop us winning at all cost”

This is my hope too. Of course there will be plenty of physical players but in the main I expect there to be more football played than just muscle.

Unless there’s signings we are in for a dogfight, for sure. Macclesfield last season springs to mind, hopefully the same outcome too.

Agree, Ling snr must be pulling all the strings now. As good as being manager. No surprise really after promoting from within.

I'm still convinced we'll have a new Head Coach in long before Christmas .

The season starts in just over a week. There are injuries to important players, other players not looking good in pre-season against poor opposition, don't have settled formation or way of play and the team are lacking signings in key areas. I can't see this 'interim' experiment lasting very long.
