Did Coulthirst sign a new deal at Barnet, because his contract ran out this summer and last I heard the club were still waiting for him to sign it.

Shaquile Coulthirst
“The spasm in his lower back is starting to ease, however, Saturday’s game against Peterborough may come too early.
“He’s fine to return to training and could potentially be ready for the Arsenal match.”

I wonder how the "we don't need any players" brigade will react now Ross has said this...
No it's not. It's to replace them for the season. I'd take a 7/10 player on September 1st over a 5/10 player on July 28th every time.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 7:28 am Why not though? The idea is to replace players BEFORE the season starts.
Wright is a completely different player to Lawless.Red_Army wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:29 amNo it's not. It's to replace them for the season. Anyway, both those players have been replaced.
Firstly, comparing apples to oranges is a flawed process. Also, Gorman was acquired last year whilst Lee was on the books, so he is clearly not a ‘replacement’.redintheface wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 10:07 am I agree Wright is a completely different player to Lawless - he’s much better! Lees replacement = Gorman ? Also fair to say that while we can assume McAnuff will be used sparingly this season we don’t know it! Try to be patient - players can’t be press ganged into coming to the club and whilst not ideal we have until 2nd September before the transfer window shuts. KT confirmed that there will be a couple of new arrivals in the coming days so hang on for that and then you can start criticising the players that have been brought in!![]()
Jobi McAnuff will be the 4th central midfielder.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:52 amWright is a completely different player to Lawless.Red_Army wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:29 amNo it's not. Also, who has replaced Lee? We also know that Jobi will be used sparingly this season, so we are very short in midfield.
That is about right but with injuries and loss of (or in Gorman’s case - neglible) form means we need someone else.Red_Army wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 10:16 amJobi McAnuff will be the 4th central midfielder.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:52 amWright is a completely different player to Lawless.

I look forward to hearing who these new arrivals are, as my source tells me they will be in by next Saturday.
There isn't one, it's because certain people & Gshaw is one of them go into mad panic mode because we haven't got a squad of 35 by mid-July

Your sarcasm is ill-founded. If I knew who was coming, why would I tell you anyway fella. You would only criticise the news anyway.redintheface wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 11:49 am“ comparing apples to oranges”Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 10:12 amFirstly, comparing apples to oranges is a flawed process. Based on that view when they do come in we should be overjoyed at the quality they add to the squad. Nobody has ever said we need players to make up,the numbers, not that I recall anyway. That type of comment is a cop out for no activity.Jman wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 3:21 pm To be honest, although I’m just as frustrated as anyone we haven’t added to the squad on top of what we’ve got, I think Ross’s comments are actually spot on. Getting players in the door to make up the numbers is completely the pointless. Anybody we get in has to be of a really sufficient quality to improve the squad so we’ve got to bide our time
Sounds like you only read this message board, expand your horizons and you'll see the other opinions (wrong as they are)
