I’m sure it does and I never said it didn’t. Trust me I’d move back to Essex tomorrow if it wasn’t for the schooling issue, so I’m here till then and I’ll be back to Epping or some such place when I do.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:22 pmThe County of Kent was one of my sales areas that I covered for around 10 years.Thor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:57 amNope, I live in Kent in a beautiful house with a very happy family.WhereDoYouKnowMeFrom wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:07 am

True, it amazes me that we are faced with a killer virus which shows no mercy to anyone and people want to chance their arms in parks etc. They need to stop being selfish, listen to the government advice and hope that by self isolating as much as possible the wider population have a chance of this passing them by unscathed.Ornchurch wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:28 pmWhen I see these videos I always wonder what the people filming and distributing them are doing out themselves.Thor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:57 amNope, I live in Kent in a beautiful house with a very happy family.WhereDoYouKnowMeFrom wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 11:07 am

Re: Coronavirus
Both the rate of infection has fallen although that could be because we are not testing enough right now, but the death rate has also fallen.
Hopefully the fact that both are lower than yesterday indicates that self isolation is working and we are moving in the right direction. At least I hope and pray that it is the case.

But isnt it likely that we’ll all get it at some point? So it’s just a matter of timing? Have you got any doctor friends who could confirm?Thor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 2:15 pmTrue, it amazes me that we are faced with a killer virus which shows no mercy to anyone and people want to chance their arms in parks etc. They need to stop being selfish, listen to the government advice and hope that by self isolating as much as possible the wider population have a chance of this passing them by unscathed.

Re: Coronavirus
You still think china is telling the truth? The government is now openly saying they have a day of reckoning coming to them. For a flu like virus that they didn't create? Ok......
The number of deaths being seen in europe and china is way low down on that list and again the government is saying that the numbers are lies and under cooked by 40 to 50 times.

I thought the Canadians created it and the Chinese stole it Thor?
Think talk of a reckoning is more for the government to sound tough and shifting blame away from itself as the numbers get increasingly grim. The Chinese government has been a terrible influence for yonks, I don't understand why now is the moment that the Tories start talking tough on them after having handed the design of the world's largest nuclear power station, essential 5g infrastructure and any number of other cop outs over the last decade.

Re: Coronavirus
You may not have said it directly; but your comparison between East Ham and Kent quite obviously inferred it.Thor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 2:13 pmI’m sure it does and I never said it didn’t.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:22 pmThe County of Kent was one of my sales areas that I covered for around 10 years.

Why do people have to try and backtrack/justify themselves these days; instead of simply admitting that what they were just wrong? It's a really said trait; often saying more about the character and mindset of a person, than their words ever can.

Well if you take it out of context to the whole conversation I’m sure you could confer whatever it is you want to confer.
You must try harder next time.

From Private Eye:
32 - Hospital beds per 10,000 inhabitants in Italy, which is struggling to cope.

I don't need to try harder.
It was quite clear to anyone that you were referring to East Ham as a 'sh*t hole'; particularly in comparison to Kent.

OK, how about the following; showing that the UK is 24th out of 31 EEA Countries for ICU beds (per 100,000 people):

German state minister kills himself over coronavirus. He was worried about being able to help and support the population through this crisis and he felt overwhelmed by it and committed suicide apparently.

Two Doctors die; whilst other NHS staff (that many tory hypocrites 'clapped' last week) STILL don't even have basic PPE:

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/ ... c-21776798
May Doctors Amged El-Hawrani and Adil El Tayar both Rest In Peace. xx
Whilst Johnson & Co. self-isolate in the comfort of their homes, our NHS staff are still awaiting testing and are actually risking their lives daily whilst trying to save others. My Wife (a Nurse) and Brother in Law (an Ambulance Paramedic) amongst them.
10 years of this useless, incompetent Conservative Govt. and we can't even protect our front-line medical professionals. What a truly disgusting, unforgiveable legacy they will leave.
Yet people still support and defend them.
